Asked for a blonde balayage and was reassured the stylist had strong experience with blondes. I specifically requested the back to be fully worked through (it was quite dark) and asked for a low-maintenance result without a middle split. I left with ginger/honey tones, lost all my natural dimension with a very flat one ginger tone, and an obvious middle split that already looks like I need a touch-up. There was also a large square section in the back that was barely touched, which is very noticeable. I chose not to go back for a correction (which is the third photo). If a basic blonde balayage can’t be done properly, I wouldn’t feel comfortable proceeding further. I would not recommend this salon for blonde or balayage services.
Not the best experience with Lizzie. I told her what I wanted, she confidently said she could. She was late to the appointment and didn’t tell me until I was already on the way. I had no problem with it at the time but after everything it’s one of the things that adds on. I started with a light purple, I wanted to go blonde to a brown ombré, but she was too scared to do it. We were there for like 8 hours, she leaves me with basically the same hair color (she added pink dye but it did almost nothing) just with black tips and a haircut. Charges me $550. Then she says she can do it right the next time in like 2 months. I made an appointment there but after, I realized I should not continue with her bc I was just really unhappy with my hair. Then before I was going to, SHE cancels the appointment saying she’s taking a different direction with hair. This was also my first salon experience so it’s gonna be hard to trust someone now. She was nice but a little side note, she was talking to me about how she charges this guy extra every time he comes in bc he doesn’t know any better.. just to show u the type of hairstylist she is…This was a waste of money and time, I wish I never went here. :(
Had a great time at the salon today he was super fun and light kept everything very professional very clean!. The hair color and style came out exactly as I wanted, especially since I’ve never bleached my hair before so it was an awesome first experience.
We had an unbelievable experience at Color House. The environment and atmosphere is warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Friendly staff greeted us immediately and made us feel comfortable. Whitney did an absolutely phenomenal job on my partner’s hair. She was extremely accommodating, talkative, friendly, and warm. Her skill level is above and beyond. Absolutely perfect!
I've been going to Tanner for 9 years, and I can honestly say there's no one else I trust with my hair—or my kids'! He doesn’t just do hair, he calls it "arts and crafts," and that’s exactly what it feels like—creative, fun, and always fabulous. He's got a hilarious personality that makes every appointment feel like a hangout with a friend, but he’s also super professional, always communicating clearly and making sure you get exactly what you want. He's outgoing and has a natural gift for making people feel comfortable and confident. If you're looking for someone with talent, personality, and years of experience—you’ve found him. Highly recommend!
