We had a wonderful time with Captain Scott. Cornelius Pontoon Rentals went out of their way to accommodate us in the off season on a short notice. The boat was very clean and Scott was an amazing captain. He knew where a spring was that brought warmer water in for the kids to swim in the middle of October. We highly recommend renting from Cornelius Pontoon Rentals.
One of the greatest trips to North Carolina. I treated my employees to a 4 hour trip on the boat. They haven't stop thanking me all week. Scott our driver was more like a guide. Explaining the rich history of the lake and the homes residing along it. He even took time to watch my dog while we enjoyed one of the most beautiful restaraunts on the lake. The owners Joyce and Mike welcomed us with kindness and genuineness that we will forever remember. WE WILL BE BACK!. Million thank yous
We had a wonderful experience with Cornelius Pontoon Rentals! We had a group of 7 of us on the boat over Labor Day weekend and our driver Scott was amazing. He was informative about the area as he’s very familiar with lake Norman and also so friendly and kind. We truly enjoyed our time on the boat with him. He took us to numerous cool cove areas to park and let us swim as well as took us to a nearby restaurant for lunch. Overall, we had a great experience that we felt was very reasonably priced. We would 100% recommend to anyone looking for CLT boat rentals! :)
Booking with Cornelius Pontoon Rentals was such an easy and enjoyable process. Mike and Joyce were prompt, friendly, and helpful with all of their responses. Our captain, Scott, truly made the trip unforgettable—he not only gave us time to explore the lake but also shared interesting history and pointed out some great fishing spots that my husband and kids loved. The kids had a blast calling him “Captain” and asking questions, which he happily answered. We chose the 5–8 p.m. ride, and Scott made sure we caught the beautiful sunset on the water. It was such a special evening for my family. The pontoon was spotless, and everyone we interacted with was professional, caring, and welcoming. Highly recommend—this experience will not disappoint!
We had a really good experience with Cornelius Pontoon Rentals. The boat was clean and the instructions for use very clear. Cold water and snacks were provided and the pick up and return was on time and a really good location. Mike and Joyce are terrific people and were good to communicate with before and during the rental times. We would definitely use their pontoons for future stays in the Lake Norman area.
