This is a beautiful space! Being from Missour originally, I'm familiar with a lot of the grape varietals that they had at this winery. I'm going to be honest, the estate wines were hit or miss for me. Their rose was very drinkable. My friends got flights of their reds. Most of those weren't my favorite. This is just my personal preferences though. I always say, to each their own. That being said, the ambience of this place is amazing. Find something you like to drink here and spend a few hours. You won't regret it.
Country Heritage is definitely more than just a winery. It’s surprisingly big, and it includes a distillery too. I dropped by on a Thursday evening and they were having an open mic night. The live music was nice, and there were plenty of people listening outside. I tried a tasting of their wines and found them to be quite pleasant. The Ice Age White was sweet and complex. After that I decided to see what their stillhouse was like and tried their pistachio proofed cocktail. It was really pleasant, and the pistachio orgeat really came through. I enjoyed my time there, and I can definitely see why it was busy. With a setup like that, people probably come from a ways off to spend some time here.
Here’s a quick review you can use: I had a fantastic experience at the winery! It’s not every day you find a place that serves delicious gluten-free pizza alongside refreshing virgin drinks. The ambiance is lovely, with options to sit both outside and inside, allowing you to choose your perfect spot. The food is great, and the company is even better, making it a perfect outing for everyone. Highly recommend this spot for a delightful time!
Amazing place to go for a date night away from the kids or even bring them along! The outdoor seating is vast and features an open field, fire pits, covered tables, and a lakeside view. Restaurant is fast convenient and affordable. Also it's good food! The wine selection is awesome and has a variety that is sure to meet your needs! Live music every weekend pretty much. It's a nice little hideaway spot that's out of the city and not hard to get to or find
Had a chance to visit Country Heritage Winery this evening and had an enjoyable experience worth repeating. We started off with a cocktail sampler. We decided that we didn't like Gin and Rum but liked the Vodka drinks. The dude was good but they make you walk all the way around the building to get it. That just seemed weird. It really was WAY around the building. The food was good. I enjoyed the 7-layer tatchos. I recommend that or the Brisket ones. I sampled the Brisket Mac and Cheese and the smash burger and fries looked good.
