I went here last Friday to get my first major haircut in a very long time. It was a huge jump, transitioning from long straight hair, to a wolf cut with a hint of a mullet. My stylist, Andi was on point! I showed her a reference photo, and she replicated it perfectly. It was an amazing experience and I am obsessed with my new cut. I would recommend this Hair Studio to anyone who wants an alternative cut!!
BEST HAIR DAY EVER. Shelly, the mastermind, is an absolute joy, and the entire experience is an absolute delight and I can't wait for my next cut. I'm officially a client forever–– or til death takes me. And then I'll just haunt the place.
Everyone there is so welcoming and easy to talk to. I've had a curly cut by Camille twice and was so pleased each time. I feel like there was so much attention to detail during the service and Camille is knowledgeable when it comes to figuring out what works best for different hair needs. Camille also helped me achieve the best layering and made final adjustments as needed, which is another appreciated detail. Scheduling and communication is easy!
This was my first time at this salon. I haven't had my hair cut in 5 years as I was growing it out donate it, so I was very nervous going into the appointment. Not only did KD, my stylist, tie my hair in a manner so that it would maximize the amount of hair to donate, she then took her time and cut my hair in a way that I've never experienced before. A lot of care went into every step of the process and you could tell she wanted cut to be just right. Meanwhile, we spent this whole time shooting the breeze about horror movies, Baltimore and our families. KD was very genuine, kind and fun to talk to. Everyone that I got to talk with like Riley and Shelly, were also just so dang nice. They treated me like I had been going there for years. This place is really special and I'm so glad I went here for my donation and haircut.
If I could give Crafted 10 stars I would. I have a lot of dry, wavy, unruly hair and I was super nervous to try a new salon. But everyone there was so nice and welcoming! Camille was my stylist and she was incredible. She was so kind, so skilled, and so knowledgeable. This was my first curly cut and Camille has a client for life! I've never left a salon feeling excited about my hair until now. Yes, Hampden street parking is a nightmare but it was definitely worth it. Thank you all so much. I cannot wait for my hair to grow so I can come back!
