I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful 40th birthday celebration, and Delissa absolutely transformed the entire experience. Her décor and setup were exceptional; so thoughtful, so personalized, and truly magical. She turned my friend’s home into what felt like an entirely different venue. Every detail was perfect: the bartending services, the food display, the table settings, the lounge area all of it was flawlessly executed. You could tell how much care and intentionality went into every element. I was genuinely impressed, and I definitely plan on using her services in the future. Highly recommend!
I have used Dalissa Events and Party Rentals for the past two years for all of my event needs at my place of employment, and I have also confidently referred them to colleagues and friends. I have had the pleasure of attending several events organized by this business, both at this venue and other locations. Each experience has been exceptional, showcasing the creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail of Ms. Dalissa and her team. Their work consistently transforms any space into something truly memorable. Here are a couple of pictures from a halloween party Ms. Dalissa hosted at this venue. I am looking forward to my upcoming birthday celebration, confident that the décor will be nothing short of outstanding.
Dalissa Events was referred to me by my decorator/event planner who have used Dalissa Events for tons of people, exceeding 10k in revenue. Of course, I jumped on the referral as we were looking for a cotton candy machine for a 1st birthday party. The excitement on the day of the party was unmatched; the family was super excited to celebrate our angel with US. Dalissa Events arrived on scene with an INCOMPLETE cotton candy cart - the top was missing, see picture. The delivery guy was oblivious or pretended not to understand our displeasure with what he had on hand; he instructed us to call the owner. We did just that and to our surprise, the owner was quite rude, dismissive and not all concerned with the feelings of her customer. The owner - Dalissa said what we SAW in the picture (see below) and ORDERED was not guaranteed which is why she sent a BIG STUPID UMBRELLA in place of the cart top. This was for a 1yr old birthday party, not a baby shower or a graduation - the UMBRELLA wasn't what we paid for. Had communication been provided by the vendor to the paying customer in ADVANCE of the delivery of this mishap, maybe we would've been ok with things. If not, we would have at least had the opportunity to say we don't want it - REFUND IT. To be blindsided and then our feelings and concerns as a paying customer disregarded, completely unacceptable. Dalissa the owner said TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT! She was not willing to provide a discount, a credit or anything for the mishap on HER PART. It was a complete slap in the face, we will never use this company again and I will be sure to spread the word on every social media outlet available at my disposal. To be treated as if my money doesn't help pay your bills, the lack of concern from you as the owner, simply appalling. I'll be sure to give it to another vendor who provides the same service - likely better with regard to the customer. Don't patronize this company, the owner doesn't give a damn about you or your money!
I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Dalissa Events and Party Rentals for the past 5 years, and I can confidently say that their event inventory and items are the standard in event planning. Their team consistently delivers professionalism and quality customer service. Specifically, Tameka Hall - she has always been warm, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Although perfection does not exist, if there is any mishap of some sort, Dalissa Events corrects it immediately, which I appreciate greatly. If you're looking for a rental company that offers high-quality items and that you can trust, look no further than Dalissa Events and Party Rentals DMV. They are outstanding!
