I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Dallas Culinary Company, and it was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The food is amazing..... The green chili soup is amazing OMG!!! The BBQ is the definition of smoked Texas BBQ... Most definitely a 10 out of 10.... It's a hidden gem you must try...
They were very nice and willing to make adjustments to that it worked for our budget. The delivery fee is $25 per drop off which isn’t bad, some chain spots were more than that for a delivery fee. They also have a service charge of 20% of the bill (not a gratuity but covers other overhead costs not related to food; admin costs etc) which wasn’t something I had experienced with other caterers but they were willing to drop that some so that it fit within our budget. We did $18/person for dinners before the fees. It felt a little lacking compared to other caterers we had used at a similar price point but also I know food costs just keep rising and it is Dallas (haven’t used other caterers in Dallas). I know if we spent more we would get more, just was hoping for a little more compared to other catering experiences. But the food itself tasted good. They stayed in line with food we wanted to fit what we needed for our group. The delivery was always on time or early and they brought a warmer box to keep things warm when it was brought early. And they allowed some last minute changes to our delivery times as our schedules changed which was greatly appreciated.
OMG the food was absolutely amazing. The amount of different items on the menu really surprised me and my friends and I ordered some of the dishes we were trying for the first time so we were all really impressed with the quality of each dish and its presentation as well. I'd highly recommend the food here.
