Moving to Dallas, I struggled to find the right barber, but I finally did! The shop has a great vibe and you can tell right away you’ll get a clean, professional cut. Abdul's attention to detail is amazing, and now I feel confident getting a haircut even right before any big event. If you’re looking for a barber in Dallas who truly knows what he’s doing, this is the place.
I have been doing business with Abdul for several years now. He is more than a very skilled barber and stylist. He is a confidant, a caring friend, and an overall good person. I look forward to each appointment. The ambience, small details, and great conversation always exceeds expectations. He and Stacy are always very accommodating and professional. From the moment I walked into Dallas Gents, I knew I was in good hands. The atmosphere is classy yet welcoming. Abdul was not only skilled but also attentive to every detail, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The haircut was both flawless, and the hot towel treatment was the perfect addition to the service. What really sets this place apart is the experience. It’s more than just a haircut—it’s a moment to relax, recharge, and walk out feeling like your best self. Abdul and Stacy are friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about their craft. 1 star for customer service. I got a handful of great haircuts from Abdul, but unfortunately my most recent and last experience was deplorable. After agreeing on the haircut for my visit, the end result was not quite what I was expecting. When I gave Abdul this feedback, he seemed to be upset. Unwilling to find an immediate solution (I still had 15-20 minutes in my allotted appointment), he offered to book me another appointment with his barber the next day. As a repeat customer and one eager to continue a long-lasting relationship with them, this was incredibly upsetting. Especially since he knew I had a special wedding two days later. When I made Stacy aware of the situation through a very cordial text, even saying "I understand we all have our days, and I look to always give people grace." and that I simply wanted her to be aware of the situation, she argued my debrief of the situation, expressing that Abdul would "have to do another full haircut" (instead of just cutting it shorter lol), and expressed that I should simply look elsewhere moving forward. People already don't feel comfortable providing stylists/barbers honest feedback, and this type of environment does not help that at all.
TODAY is the first day of the rest of my life and a brand new hairdo courtesy of Mr. Abdul and Mrs. Stacy -- (sp?) at Dallas Gents Fine Men's Salon, and from the jump they treated me with the utmost; love, kindness, dignity, courtesy and respect, throughout the process, that made me feel like a KING 👑 AND a dignified human being again! It was money beyond well spent and outstanding services rendered in a little corner professional arts building office complex at the corner of Greenville Ave. and Abrams Rd. here in North Dallas. I highly recommend them for the best haircuts and all-male grooming that money can buy! See y'all there 🤠🙏🏼❤️💪🏼👏🏼😎😇💯☘️🔥
