Rico is a talented barber who gave my husband a great haircut. The location is elegantly decorated and the service was excellent. My husband enjoyed the conversation and the first class experience. Rico offered me bottled water as I waited in the comfortable seating area.
Rico clearly loves what he does and it shows in his work. Great haircut and great company in a beautiful art deco styled barber shop in the Guild Hotel. He hooked me up with a quality fade and the shampoo and hot towel service after the cut was perfect. Highly recommend. Thanks Rico!
Rico is a great barber. I found him on Google when I needed a last minute cut, he had availability and was close in Downtown / Columbia near Santa Fe Station. The shop is located in the basement floor of an old hotel, and it is only one chair so its a comfortable and quiet experience for those who don't love the traditional barbershop noise. Rico is very professional and he goes for a classy, 1920s vibe that makes the hair cut experience feel comfortable. He's also one of the few barbers that can get a haircut done in 30 mins. I would 100% recommend Rico to a friend.
Just moved to the neighborhood and discovered Dandy Time Barber online. Had my haircut today and was impressed by the relaxing yet upscale atmosphere inside the stylish hotel location. It was easy to find—walk straight into the hotel lobby and the bellman directed me to the lower level via the elevator to the right of the entrance. The shop is spotless, modern, and comfortable, which made the whole experience feel special. Rico is personable, attentive, and highly skilled—he listens to what you want, makes helpful suggestions, and genuinely delivered the best haircut I’ve ever had. The service also included a shampoo and a hot neck shave. Highly recommend Dandy Time Barber to anyone looking for a fresh cut and a top-notch barber in the area.
