Show was awesome, great costumes, lighting and backdrops. Dancing was fantastic with more acrobatics along the way in this years show - Alison and teachers do an absolutely first rate job in co-ordinating and choregraphing all of the dances over the 2 hours with all dance classes. Its fast moving and never a dull moment. The whole family enjoyed it. Only criticism would be that the air conditioning could've been turned on a bit earlier as was stuffy before the show and came on during act one. Also music was a bit too loud in act 2 and could've been turned down just a tad to take the edge of it.
My daughter absolutely loves dancing at Dare 2 Dance. She has learned the love of movement, practicing and working hard, made many new friends and has grown confident in her ability to learn.
I enrolled my daughter in ballet classes at D2D since 2022, alongside her best friend, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Alison Bailey and her assistant Emma consistently provide exceptional care and attention to the girls. My daughter eagerly anticipates her weekly classes, and it has truly become the highlight of her week. The annual concert organised by D2D is a standout event, and Alison consistently surpasses my expectations. Her dedication and commitment to creating a memorable experience for the children are truly commendable. I'm continually impressed by Alison's ability to go above and beyond. D2D is simply unmatched in fostering a love for dance and providing a nurturing environment for young dancers.
Our family have two boys that have joined the D2D family. It’s been a great experience for our youngest doing ballet and eldest in junior hip hop. The environment is very fun, inclusive and supportive. The team care and are dedicated to see each student have fun with dance as they learn.
Dare to Dance has a really lovely feel which our family adores. My kids (boy and girl) both adore their classes and are always happy to go. My 5yo son is still so little, and gets distracted when following after the older ones in the group. In another dance school, they told us he couldn't participate in their annual concert, as he wasn't up to scratch, whereas D2D has been super supportive and inclusive! D2D has a really good culture on kids supporting each other and working together, and of positive body image. Highly recommend.
