Had Steve out to provide a quote for some insulation work in my crawl space. I’ve got to say he is the most honest and trustworthy contractor I’ve engaged with which seems to be a rarity these days.. No pressure, no upsell, just an honest assessment on the request. Didn’t end up hiring them for this specific job due to a lack of necessity which he honestly told me vs trying to sell a project which didn’t need to be done. Could have easily built fear and provided a quote which he didn’t do. Appreciate this and he will absolutely be the first guy I call next time I need a handyman. Thank you!
I had a shower door hinge repaired on my frameless shower door and was very impressed with the service. The estimate visit was completely free, and I received a clear, fair quote by the end of the day. They offered a wide range of appointment options to fit my schedule, which I really appreciated. When they arrived, the technicians were efficient, professional, and took great care of my home. The repair was done quickly and with excellent attention to detail. Overall, a smooth and reliable experience!
Let me first say that DHS was a referral from a family friend in the industry locally so I trusted the referral. DHS was under different ownership when I accepted their bid. They required $4k down to get on their schedule for what was supposed to be a simple shower remodel. After 4 months of waiting (when my down payment could have been earning interest for me), I finally got on their schedule for the demo, but it took TWO MONTHS POST DEMO to have a working shower. I only have one bathroom, so not having a shower for two months was a considerable “inconvenience.” The new owners appeared to be concerned and attempted to make things right, but the bottom line is I endured ~six month wait for a simple shower remodel … and then they wanted the balance paid immediately and threatened past due charges only four days after the final inspection was completed. I wish I could have given a better review because I like the new owners, but threatening additional charges so soon after the project was FINALLY completed just capped off the whole chaotic experience with this company.
Denver's Handyman Services did a fantastic job with various repairs in and around my condo. They installed a new storm door, installed a exterior patio screen door, adjusted and rehung an interior door, removed and replaced a new ceiling fan receiver and remote, and repaired and renforced both patio lower deck coverings. From office staff to estimator to handyman all were extremely professional, answered all questions, communication was superb and quality of work was outstanding. Highly recommend this business for all your handyman needs!
I couldn’t be happier with DHS’ service! David was great and easy to work with in coordinating our bathroom project. Any questions or concerns were resolved promptly and the team worked quickly.
