In preparation for my wife's 60th birthday celebration, a close family friend recommended that I contact Lucretia Williams to handle the event. At first I was a little skeptical because I had never used an event coordinator before and didn't know how the process worked personally. But to my surprise, Lucretia and her team made the whole process painless for me. The Distinct Planning team pretty much handled everything necessary to make for a very elegant and successful birthday celebration. Her team handled venue sourcing, photography, decorations, run of show and managed the party the day of the Event. If I ever have to plan another event, My first call will be to Lucretia (DEP)! The Franklin County Board of Commissioner Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion partnered with Distinct Event Planning from June 2024 thru December 2024 for the purpose of planning our second annual DEI Conference. It is our priority to create a space that is welcoming, encourages healthy conversation, and builds comfortability for learning and application. Lucretia Williams and the Distinct Event Planning team strategically worked with the DEI team to understand our goals, align with our priorities, and take on the responsibility of ensuring our Franklin County participants of close to 300 had an unforgettable experience. Distinct Event Planning is intentional from the planning process to execution. Ms. Williams and her team communicated regularly with the DEI team, handled the planning and preparation with our community partners, and brought our vision to life with her expertise and execution. The Distinct Event Planning team was clear in their communication and recommendations to ensure we were doing what was best for a successful event.
