I tried to give this shop another chance, but it always disappoints! The selection is cool if you're into vintage, but why are they selling a Kiss shirt for $15 when the exact shirt costs $9 at Walmart?! The customer service continues to suck. I've worked retail and this ain't it.
The employee who answered the phone started raising his voice at me when I asked him to see if the item pictured on the website was still available in size 8. Marco said he had lots of shoes and that I screenshot the picture of the shoe and send it to him. If the picture of the shoe was on Bishop Arts website, isn't that the same as my screenshot? I told him I didn't want to shop with the store due to his attitude. He told me "this is America and I can shop wherever I want". He hung up on me and the owner should be concerned about this employee. So much for customer service. It just doesn't exist and I will never shop there.
Sell your ex’s vintage stuff to Dolly on Bishop, then use the money to buy something unique and interesting for yourself! Marko was very happy to assist me in getting rid of valuable clutter and payment was easy via Venmo. Marko is full of interesting stories and good recommendations, glad to have met. I’ll definitely be back to get that 8 foot tall skeleton too😆
Great place for curiosities. It is a little cramped, especially on the weekend. Weird, interesting things. They have clothing, many accessories, decor, and records. You're bound to find something that intrigues you. I'd say this is a definite place to stop and look at when you're in the neighborhood! Not much parking in surrounding areas, especially if it's a busy day. It is a walking district after all. They used to have dressing rooms in the back, not sure if they still do. Just ask :)
Absolutely love this place!! Everything it holds is unique and antique. There was so much to look at and all very interesting. Some items where highly priced but they looked very much one of a kind or at least not easy to come across anywhere else. In my opinion everything is reasonably priced. They have a lot of clothes to look through, boots and shoes, jewelry, furniture, decor and more. There was a section of just clown items and a section just for belts and boots. I cannot wait to come back again with friends and family. The location is a bit small but it has a lot of items to look through. The staff was great, greeted me as soon as I walked in through the doors and were there to assist me with my questions on pricing and general information on an item.
