I love this studio so much especially for beginner/intermediate Pilates. My friend and I found this studio through ClassPass and eventually switched over to the studio entirely. Aaron is my favorite instructor here as he is so patient and gives you many alternative resistance options, depending on your skill level. Most importantly, the instructors here don’t count down from 30. I also appreciate that they ask you for your height at the beginning of class so that the reformer can be set based on your body length. Many studios don’t take this into consideration for especially for taller individuals. I also like how cozy it is as compared to other pretentious studios around LA. Parking is mostly street parking so I recommend arriving 5 or so minutes early. Highly recommend this studio to anyone that is interested in trying Pilates!
I highly recommend Dr Pilates. I have been taking classes for the last 8 months and it has completely changed my body. I feel so much stronger and flexible. I feel at home every time I step through the door and each instructor is very knowledgable and welcoming. There is always a modification making the practice feel comfortable for me individually to move at my pace.
I returned to Dr. Pilates after taking a 2-year break. Prior to this, I attended Dr. Pilates for nearly 3 years since the beginning of COVID. The Pilates studio moved from the core of Larchmont to near Santa Monica Street, but you can still find an ample amount of street parking around the studio/Larchmont area. Dr. Pilates offers a wide range of classes from 'beginner to advanced' for all levels. The prices are very reasonable in comparison to other studios, especially for the quality service you're receiving! I highly recommend my OG instructors such as Aaron/Wes if you are just starting Pilates, and Lauren's stretch class if you want to relax and unwind from stress at the end of a long work day. :-)
I absolutely love this studio! I always feel at home when I walk through the doors. It's the perfect 50-minute workout with amazing instructors who know exactly what they are talking about. The machines are great, and the studio is always clean and well-kept. I've experienced great results and feel much stronger than when I started attending classes. Special shoutout to my favorite instructors: Brynna, Emma, Elena, Jennifer, Paige and Tara.
I’ve been attending this Pilates studio for a couple times now and absolutely love it! The space is clean, modern, and has such a calming atmosphere. The instructors are highly professional, attentive, and always make sure to correct your form so you get the best out of each session. I feel stronger, more flexible, and more energized after every class. It’s definitely my favorite place to recharge and take care of both body and mind. Highly recommend!
