I was in for an emergency visit over the weekend and am very disappointed with my experience. My cat had ingested dairy and was having gastro problems and lethargy. After only briefly speaking with the technician about the situation, Dr. Nozari, without examining my cat or speaking with me, recommended an x-ray, which was going to cost upwards of $400. No other option or information was provided to me. I asked for more information, at which point he came in and explained it may be an obstruction. I found this extreme considering my cat had had dairy and was exhibiting all the signs of an allergic reaction. After more questions and hesitancy on my part, we agreed that we would only give him an anti-nausea shot and wait to see. This was also after I pushed back on a proposed 10-day course of antibiotics! 48 hours later and my cat is back to being his normal self. Overall, I felt that Dr. Nozari’s practices were very much in line with the negative reputation of vet clinics being cash-grabs. I did not feel like my cat’s best interest was the only consideration, but also the clinic’s bottom line. I will not be going back. I will say that all three technicians I met were lovely and very caring.
First time visit here with my cat with Dr.Nozari upon referral given my primary vet was unable to do the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised at the clinic and the nice exam rooms. I really appreciated my visit and Dr. Nozari's time. He was able to communicate clearly and simply about the issues. I went to do an ultrasound that in the end wasn't needed after discussing options and doing another round of blood work indicating the issue was resolved. My main pros of the visit was: -Not pushing extra procedures that aren't necessary -Good communication -Not requiring sedation or sedative Medications for my cat (my primary vet usually does despite my cat being calm and cooperative) - went above and beyond Despite living in Vanier without a car, I am strongly considering making this clinic my new primary vet given how satisfied I was. Great job guys and thank you Amin!
Exceptional Care, Expertise, and Compassion Thanks to Dr. Vetamin Clinic for caring our dog, Ghord. During a single visit, the clinic carried out thorough examinations, blood and urinary tests and X-ray imaging, followed by a successful surgical procedure, handled efficiently and transparently, and excellent coordinated by the entire team. Most reassuring was recovery, remarkably smooth and fast, no common post-surgical issues, and just three days after the operation, my 14 years old dog visibly happy the same as he was young. Most reassuring was Ghord’s post-operative recovery, remarkably smooth and rapid. He had no typical post-surgical issues, and just three days after surgery, our 14-year-old dog was noticeably happier, energetic, and at ease, much like in his youth. From thorough diagnostics to effective, timely treatment and clear, compassionate communication, Dr. Vetamin Clinic exemplifies the highest standards of veterinary medicine. Thank you, Dr. Vetamin, for expert medical care delivered with professionalism and genuine compassion.
Dr. Amin and his team are absolutely wonderful! They spayed my dog last week and took such great care of her from start to finish. Everyone at the clinic was kind, patient, and made sure both my dog and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. The surgery went perfectly, and she recovered so quickly; she was back to her happy, playful self the very next day. You can really tell that Dr. Amin and his team genuinely care about the animals they treat. I’m so grateful for their compassion and professionalism and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
My female cat was urinating blood and I was able to get a same day emergency appointment. The staff was friendly, understanding, the office is cozy, and the Dr. was very kind, upfront about cost, and provided concise non-vague directions and guidance. What prompted me to write a review, was the veterinary practice manager Brittney. She was patient, very knowledgeable, kind and understanding. She answered my many questions and reduced my anxiety regarding the situation immensely. I did however find the road to get there as someone from the East end a little confusing, but worth it! Highly recommend
