If I had to pick one word to describe Kevin Smith it would be thorough. He has been conducting financial audits and preparing tax returns for our nonprofit agency for a few years now. He looks at every piece of paper and asks a lot of questions when he brings his office setup to our conference room for about a week each year. He truly observes the operation and every aspect of how our finances are handled. Kevin is also thoughtful in his approach and cares about our operation. He understands the unique nature of nonprofits. After he completes an audit, the financial statements and 990 are prepared and presented in a timely manner. This is extremely important for nonprofits which rely on a variety of funding sources. On top of this, each and every time we have called Kevin for guidance he responds quickly. His depth of knowledge is impressive and we appreciate his willingness to help.
