East Bay Prep was worth the time, effort and money! My son took the SAT prep class and improved his score by 120. In my opinion, Easy Bay Prep is the best SAT Prep Class in the area. Look no further....East Bay Prep is the absolutely the BEST ACT Prep Class! The test prep course worked along with my daughter's heavy Junior/Senior year academic load, on top of their weekly test prep lessons. The team was excellent at listening, communicating and following the needs of my daughter "individually" to help her succeed. The tutoring was flexible to her competitive sport schedule, as this was also key to the demands of succeeding in academics + sport. The consistency of the team to give effective feedback & guidance so that she could understand "how" to be a good test taker was priceless and best of all she is bringing these skills test-taking skills into her AP class test-taking. Honestly parents....my daughter went from feeling anxiety with taking the ACT to a confident and smart test taker, BEYOND the ACT!!! The team at East Bay Prep is one-of-kind. East Bay Prep took a personal interest in each of my kids' success, developing an individualized testing prep schedule for one son taking the SAT and one taking the ACT. They had weekly homework and weekly small group practice sessions as well as multiple practice tests. One of my kids Science scores wasn't improving so Joan came to the house to have a one-on-one session with him (which worked to get him unstuck). Both ended up with the scores they wanted. I have recommended East Bay Prep to several friends and we plan to use them again for our daughter.
My daughter raised her SAT score by 100 points! After a disappointing 1st test, Joan worked with my daughter and her schedule to make sure she got the help she needed. Joan was invested in seeing my daughter do well and it showed in her willingness to schedule one on one sessions. Joan was patient and explained things, particularly the math, in a way that my daughter understood. My daughter was well-prepared for the test. East Bay Prep was conveniently located at my daughter's school and the online scheduling was easy to use. They provide lots of communication about the assignments and areas to work on to the parents and I really appreciated that. If your child puts in the work, he or she will see the results! East Bay Prep a énormément aidé ma fille avec son ACT. Quand elle a commencé le programme, elle avait 25 et, au fil de tous les tests pratiques, elle a terminé avec 34 ! Son score cible était de 31 ! Le programme est très efficace et le tutorat individuel aide aussi. Joan a réalisé que ma fille avait des difficultés dans la section de lecture, alors elle a pris le temps de venir chez nous pour l'aider dans cette section en particulier. Cela a énormément aidé ! Le tutorat qui se fait en classe aide surtout lorsqu'elle ne comprenait pas comment résoudre un problème de mathématiques en particulier. Il existe de nombreux créneaux horaires différents pour suivre les cours et passer des tests pratiques chaque mois, ce qui a permis à ma fille d'être moins stressée lors du vrai test ACT. Merci beaucoup à East Bay Prep et je le recommande toujours à mes amis qui ont des enfants qui vont bientôt passer par ce processus. Ce programme en vaut définitivement la peine !
