This place is incredible! The food is amazing, the prices can’t be beat, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The vibes are great! An unbeatable value for the food and great for family outings! However There is a server who we’ve gotten a few times, and I say this as nicely as possible, who will make your time so much worse than it has any reason to be. We had to ask multiple times for water. After we asked for water the second time, a new table was sat, and he brought them water and their appetizer before returning to us, where we again had to ask for water. We saw him place our appetizer on another table, then pick it up and bring it to us. He took our order by writing on his hand. Less than a minute later he came back to clarify what I ordered. The margaritas we ordered were overfilled and dripping everywhere, making the table and our hands a sticky mess. Listen, he seems like a nice person and I wish him no ill will. These experiences won’t stop us from coming out to support this incredible local business. But he needs some help or training. We absolutely love coming here, but this makes an amazing experience into a subpar one.
I spent $78 here and got completely ripped off. Ordered carne asada, and what I received was a dry, fatty steak with zero flavor. That is NOT carne asada—it’s supposed to be skirt steak. No problem, I thought, I’ll just call them. When I did, instead of owning up or offering to fix it, I was argued with for five minutes by an older lady who yelled at me about how “no one ever complains.” She even demanded I bring the steak back from my job. Are you serious? This kind of response shows a total lack of business-minded thinking—customers should never be argued with over a legitimate concern. For the money I spent, I expected at least one quality meal and at least respectful customer service. Never again. For clarity: flank/skirt steak (real carne asada) comes from the cow’s underside and offers a lean, flavorful cut. What I was given was top round, which is from the hind leg and is much leaner, tougher, and absolutely not carne asada. Hopefully this town realizes your restaurant lies to customers. P.S. The rest of the food had no flavor either. My coworkers all hated it. El potro no el po po!
Stepping in feels like an authentic local Mexican restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered off the lunch menu. Fajita steak salad had good flavor. I wasn't expecting the queso but very tasty. Burrito was filled with shredded chicken and had a good tomato based sauce.
We really like this place. We have been here a few times now. The service is always good. The food is reasonably priced, especially for what you get. It’s a bit different than the standard popular Lincoln Mexican that mostly tastes the same no matter where you go. I wouldn’t have any hesitation recommending this place.
This is my favorite restaurant in Lincoln. We've been here multiple times and they are so attentive and sweet. Haven't had to wait for a table yet. They bring your drinks and homemade chips and salsa right away. I order the carnitas-soft and tender always. On Mother's Day, they brought out a free dessert to every table! It is a very clean establishment. I love the atmosphere and the interior so much.
