We just had a great time at escapology here in McKinney!! This was a treat from my sister, we did the scooby experience with my kids (ages 7-12) and finished with 7 minutes to spare. The rooms were awesome and the challenges were def challenging and perfect for our age group. They made us think and no one was bored. I def recommend, it is a fun family activity.
So much fun at the Escapology in Mckinney! Olivia was our Game Master for the Scooby-Doo Haunted Castle room. She was very cool with a fun, chill vibe, and very helpful when we needed it. The room itself was so neat! Definitely had the Scooby-Doo feel, just like being in the show! Absolutely will be coming back to try other rooms!
We had my daughter’s 9th birthday party at Escapology, and I cannot recommend this place enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and wonderful with the kids. The escape room itself was perfectly designed — challenging enough to keep everyone engaged, but not too hard. The puzzles, clues, and theme were so well thought out, and the kids loved working together to solve everything. It truly exceeded our expectations. The facility was clean, organized, and felt very safe. Everything was ready when we arrived, and the whole party flowed smoothly. Several parents commented on how unique and fun the experience was, and the kids are still talking about it! If you’re looking for a birthday idea that’s fun, memorable, and totally different, Escapology is the way to go. Thank you to the entire team for helping make my daughter’s birthday so special — we will definitely be back!
I just wanted to share that we had an amazing time this past Saturday! We had zero delays in our start and zero issues. We played TH3 COD3 and could not have figured it out without the help of the lovely host! They even offered to take our pictures and gave us cool bracelets afterwards. 10/10
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) We visited Escapology in McKinney and overall had a fun experience. The room was engaging, but we did run into a few broken items that weren’t working, which took away from the flow of the game. Some puzzles turned out to be optional and didn’t need to be solved, which ended up wasting some of our time. That said, we still enjoyed ourselves and the concept is great, but there’s definitely room for improvement. I think it would work better if the puzzles were designed for more adults to actively solve together. With a few fixes, this could easily be a top-notch escape room experience.
