It is hard to put into words how truly incredible Sam, Jenna, and the whole EVL events team is. Choosing to work with Sam for our wedding designing and planning was the best choice we could have made! She helped us every step of the way. She was patient and helpful, working with us on every detail. She was so personable, taking the time to get to know us and understand our vision for our special day. She took all of our random thoughts and ideas and helped them come to life in a way that was so unique and beautiful! Her connections with all local vendors, organization and professionalism, creativity and attention to detail are all unmatched and what make Sam and EVL events so amazing!! If there is one thing you take from this review, let it be this - Sam and her team are, hands down, the BEST investment you can make for your wedding. Sam is the fairy godmother of weddings. We got married in 2020 and my parents still talk about what a blessing it was to have Sam as our wedding planner/coordinator the day of our wedding. It allowed them to be fully in the moment that day knowing Sam was running the whole show in the background. She even made sure my husband and I took some time in between photos to eat! Sam takes pride in her work and it is evident when you see her in action during the wedding and reception. She gives her absolute ALL during your wedding day to ensure even the smallest of details are perfect. If I redid my wedding and there was only one thing I could book again, it would be Sam as our coordinator.
Sam Nelson & her team is hands-down one of the best wedding planners in Western NY! I got married at the Annex on 6/17/22 and without EVL Event's talent and vision, planning from Dallas, Texas would've been impossible. The proof is in the pictures - but the joy of the day can be linked back to Sam's organization, vendor connections, strong communication skills, and heart of gold. 10/10, I could not recommend EVL Event enough! P.S. - Did I mention that EVL Event's incredible work for our wedding is getting us PUBLISHED IN THE KNOT?!? It's truly a dream come true.
Sam and the whole EVL team were crucial in planning our Buffalo wedding from Minnesota throughout the pandemic. Not only did Sam work with us one on one to connect us with top vendors in Buffalo, but she was along for the ride (including a postponement!) in helping us finalize all the details to give me the wedding of my dreams. I cannot thank EVL Events enough for taking the stress of planning a wedding remotely off my plate and helping to make this such a wonderful process!
Sam from EVL Events was the first vendor I booked when planning my wedding on 9-10-21, because I knew I wanted someone in control of my day and there to help things go as smoothly as possible! After going to so many weddings that dragged along or were unorganized, I wanted my weeding to be stress free and make my guests experience as good as I possibly could! And to be honest in my small town area it often can be hard finding quality vendors but Sam was beyond what I could have ever expected! Even my husband days after our wedding kept commenting on how awesome she is at her job! Her demeanor is calm and supportive and along the entire planning, even though I only hired her for day of coordinating, she kept in touch and answered and questions I had and also gave me recommendations anytime I asked! I often found myself saying "whatever you think" because I trusted her whole heartedly and the support and advice I got from her, I truly feel helped me have the most stress free day! I knew it was safe with her! Whether it was coming to the rehearsal and telling me "you don't have to do anything tonight we will take care of it all tomorrow"or getting down on the ground and rebustling my dress two seconds after I had just taken it down! I truly cannot recommend her enough and anyone who wants a stress free beautiful wedding definitely NEEDS to hire Sam! I cannot wait for my sisters and friends to get married and have her a part of those days as well.!
