Selected Express Driving School to get my CDL A license. The team at the Harrison office were great. They provided options on the training based on my experience. They also walk you through the many steps required at the NJMVC. I was able to practice with the all three instructors and they were all very good. Each has its own style which gave me different perspectives as a new driver. With their help I was able to pass all required knowledge exams as well as the pre-trip inspection, range skill, and road tests on the first try. Thanks to all the team for their support.
Here’s my experience from start to finish. I did my research and contacted four driving schools in the area, compared pricing, and even checked the condition of their vehicles for testing. By far, Express Driving School stood out for both pricing and the detailed guidance they provide on obtaining any CDL class or endorsement you’re looking to add to your license. From Gino Marca at the front desk to Anna, who answered all my questions and helped me every step of the way, the process was smooth and well organized. The instructors, especially Manuel and Shantel, were outstanding and provided thorough training all the way up to test day. Everything was clearly explained, including the contract, expectations for being on time, training schedules, and exam scheduling—they truly handle it all. Thank you to everyone at Express Driving School for your help. If I ever need additional training or know someone who does, I will absolutely recommend Express Driving School.
This was my first time ever getting driving lessons, and I don’t think it’s possible to get any better than this. If you’re completely new, or maybe just a bit rusty, this is the spot to go to. They will teach you all the fundamentals and little secrets to driving safe and professional. Viviana was my instructor and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful she was. Not only as a driving instructor but a person as well, being calm and patient with me. I also had Cesar for one of my lessons and man, he was super big on instilling that confidence in me with his words; helping me get rid of the driving anxiety I always had before. I’m definitely going to recommend all my relatives, friends and even random strangers to this school if their goal is to end up being a great driver. Express Driving School is the real deal!
