Finally got my first facial ever, and it was the best form of year-end self-care! Also loved the hand and head massages between the masks. Looking forward to getting my next one with Whitney again, hopefully later this year :)
I had the most amazing facial with Whitney! She was incredibly professional, gentle, and knowledgeable. My skin felt refreshed, hydrated, and glowing afterward. The spa itself was peaceful, spotless, and so relaxing — the perfect environment to unwind. I highly recommend Whitney and Face, Skin, and Body Bar if you’re looking for a truly rejuvenating experience!
I’ve been coming to Face Skin & Body Bar for almost three years, and I’m blown away every single time. This is by far the most luxurious and relaxing facial I’ve ever had - so much so that I won’t go anywhere else. I live in another city and regularly travel for work, but I’ll wait until I’m in Calgary just to book here. I just had a facial with Whitney and left feeling more relaxed than ever. She is knowledgeable and took the time to understand my skin and tailor the treatment to my goals. I really see a difference in my congestion after I come here, my skin looks and feels great. I never used to love facials because I’d get bored when other places would leave the room during masks or steaming - that never happens here. From the moment you lie down, you’re being cared for with continuous scalp, shoulder/neck, arm, and face massage, so there are no dull moments or gaps in the treatment. It’s simply the best, and I’m so grateful to have found this place. The owners are pretty incredible too. :)
I have gone to Lisane, Alexa, Wendy and Whitney. They are honestly the best therapists for microneedling, facials, and injection needs! Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and the service is amazing from the moment you walk in until the end of your treatment. I had microneedling done and the results turned out exactly the way I pictured it after a month. They don’t take shortcuts here, everything is done with the utmost care and attention to detail. My last two microneedling sessions were pretty extensive, and what really stood out was the technique, the control in every movement, the effort, and the precision. The way they moved the needle across your face is incredible. Each pass feels consistent and deep enough to know you’re getting your money’s worth, they were also so good at targeting my problem spots, but they never went deep enough that I would be red or patchy at all for longer than 1 day.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I was visiting Calgary & decided to do something to treat myself. This place did not disappoint. At first, I wasn’t sure how I would like getting a facial in an open concept area but what it lacked in privacy, it made up for in execution. I’ve had plenty of facials in my day but this may be the best I’ve ever had. It was so relaxing, all of the massage components were amazing, and my skin still feels great almost a week later! I will definitely be going back next time I’m in Calgary. Thank you, Face!
