Never have I ever thought to review a gardening hose sprayer but here we are. I dropped into Fig Earth on a lark, needing some dirt for a project. The staff was so nice and kind, when i bought a hose sprayer, they recommended that i keep the receipt cuz its got a lifetime warranty. Nah i thought, if it breaks who cares. Having used it today, this thing is a dream and i will be devastated if it breaks. The sprays are varied and powerful when needed, angled to cover broad areas, fine mist to not blow away gentle plants, or uniformly showering without causing and soil to move from overwatering. Cool spot, great plant selection, dope sprayers
Beautiful plants and even lovelier people! I came in with a picture and a dream — to transform a drab little patch of grass in front of my house into a garden with flowers. Connor recommended planting sunflower seeds given the amount of sunlight, soil, etc. He also advised on the watering schedule. He was professional, kind, funny and approachable despite my limited gardening experience. Thank you Fig Earth Supply, I'll be back!
Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Sanjay helped me pull together an herb arrangement, with lots of tips on plant care, and he also helped with a flower arrangement. I would have made some bad plant pairings if it weren’t for his guidance! He also helped set expectations for how long the plants will last and how they may interact with each other.
My favorite local nursery in Los Angeles. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly when I have a million questions about which plants/veggies would be best for my garden. You can tell they really care which is why I keep coming back. I highly recommend them for all your garden needs. They also have some cute kitties hanging around.
I don't ever write reviews for various reasons. But I just wanted to encourage people to go to FES because of how I ended up loving it! I researched a couple of nurseries before hand and was still making a decision when I happened to be passing sort of nearby driving from Pasadena to Echo Park. Best decision I could've made. The two people who helped me (I wish I could remember names!!) were so informative, each in their own way. I have some experience in gardening from my youth, but I've never done it on my own before, and now I only have a balcony so I'm limited to potted plants. I felt like I was given all the information I needed to make a decision -- I was mainly looking for a tomato plant that will tolerate a pot and they helped me get started with confidence. Ended up leaving with more than just the tomato plant (super peppers, strawberries, peppermint, and cilantro all came home with me!) because of their wonderful selection and helpful answers to my question. Also felt well informed about the pot sizes, soil needs, etc for each plant I was buying. All the plants I brought home were healthy and resilient. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for fruit and veggie plants, a starter garden, herbs, etc. Wonderful people and a great nursery.
