Jake and the team recently removed a fish pond and put in a patio for us. They did a great job. Visited multiple times before doing the work to ensure we knew exactly what the scope was. The team were on time and friendly and all work was completed on time with proper clear up. Would recommend.
We were recommended First Light Landscaping by some close friends, and they did not disappoint. From our first meetings with Sammie the designer and Neil to discuss our ambitions for a relatively small but oddly shaped garden, they were brilliant. They produced a digital design we were super happy with, and managed to complete the works to a tight deadline. Everything was carefully considered, from the materials used, to tackling some of our garden’s quirks! The on-site team were brilliant, arriving promptly every morning, checking in to let us know their progress, keeping disruption to us and the neighbours to the absolute minimum and leaving everything tidy at the end of the day. Big shout out to Jake, Dave, Rich, Ross and Sue - they were fantastic. It’s testament to them that they have recommendations after years of doing the work - it’s high quality and they care about getting it right. Don’t hesitate to use First Light.
Firstlight Landscaping created us a garden from what was originally a tarmacked and garaged area at the rear of our house. Neal was our initial contact, measuring the area and providing us with 2 alternative designs in a glossy booklet. We chose the design we preferred, and then the rest of the team got into action when an appropriate timeslot became available. We had a shed erected first, so that the contents of the garage could be transferred before being demolished. Liam & Dave did the demolition and excavation and removed all the debris in preparation for the construction. Dave and James were there constantly during an 8 week period with a bit of Mario thrown in. Working non stop from the time they arrived until they finished for the day, always tidying up before they left. The result was a carbon copy of the design and has provided us with a beautiful secure space at the rear of our property. Throughout the build, they updated us with what they had planned for the week and each day, and welcomed our input into tweaks along the way. The whole team were respectful to us and the neighbours on our street and we are delighted with the end result. We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Any changes we made were taken onboard without any fuss. The quality of workmanship is clear to see and we now have a beautiful back garden that we can really enjoy and show off.
