I was impressed with Five Star's professionalism. Right when they arrived at our house, I was confident in their work ethic and knowledge. They worked hard and efficiently to repair our line. I did not get the sense that they were trying to overcharge for extra, unnecessary repair work.

Ray was responsive to our call when we came home to find hot water heater leaking late on a Friday night. He was able to find a replacement on a Saturday and had us up and running again before Noon. Excellent service. Would recommend without reservation.
This company is the best. From first calling to get a quote, to have someone come out the house, to getting our work completed. 5 stars on everything. Fair priced, excellent communication. I’ve never had a better experience with a plumbing company than I did with Five Star Service Pros. My project was extensive. Veolia contacted me to let me know my water usage was averaging 500 gallons a day more than my neighbors. It turned out the issue was a leak in my main service line—a repair not covered by insurance or Veolia. Knowing this, I was incredibly anxious, especially after past experiences with plumbers who were either rude, pushy with upsells (trying to sell me “memberships” like it was pest control), or downright dishonest. One company even charged me almost $4,000 for a job that should’ve cost around $500. Given how serious this new leak was, I was terrified the repair could cost upwards of $20,000. I spent months researching the issue and trying to get an idea of average costs. My uncle—though not a plumber—has done this kind of work before. He’s a retired carpenter, landscaper, and appliance repairman, and he advised me to just replace the line since it was galvanized and over 60 years old. Still, I wasn’t comfortable with any of the companies I found online because of so many poor reviews. So I turned to AI—specifically ChatGPT—and explained my whole situation. Even AI warned that the costs could be high, and I shared my fears about trusting plumbers again after being burned. That’s when ChatGPT recommended Five Star Service Pros. To top it off, I posted in a local Facebook group asking for recommendations. My cousin mentioned the same company and said I wouldn’t regret calling them. She also mentioned Ray, the owner, and how great he was. That confirmed for me that I was on the right track. I visited their website and scheduled a callback. It was a Saturday, and within two minutes, Ray called me personally. He was in Mountain Home and offered to drive all the way to Boise (45 minutes) just to take a look. That alone impressed me. Once Ray arrived, he thoroughly inspected everything—from my yard to my basement. My main service line goes six feet down, under a concrete porch and stairs. It’s not a simple setup. But Ray didn’t flinch. He came inside, traced my pipes, and came up with a solid plan. His team capped off the old galvanized line and installed a new line across my backyard, entering the basement from the opposite side of the house. They even installed a new, easy-to-access shutoff valve. Despite having to trench the yard, they were extremely careful and respectful of my property. They repaired damaged parts of my sprinkler system, and even removed a huge tree stump—at no additional charge—just because they had the equipment to do it. This was the best service I’ve ever had from any company, hands down. Thank you so much, Ray, Luke, and the rest of the crew who spent two tough days in my yard. You are all deeply appreciated. To anyone reading this: don’t hesitate. If you need plumbing work done, call Ray and his team. They are true professionals who live up to the name Five Star Service Pros—they go above and beyond (and yes, below, if digging’s involved!).
