This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share about our unforunate experience working with Flowers for Dreams for our December 2024 wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center so that other couples are warned. The primary issue that we had was regarding the draping, which turned out absolutely NOTHING like the photos in the proposal (see attached photos). They somehow managed to make the most beautiful venue look ugly. The pictures of our wedding ceremony truly make me feel sick. "PJ" and his crew were resposible for setting up on our wedding day. Supposedly, PJ ended up not showing up that day because he "didn't feel like it", and instead sent the most inept crew that may or may not have ever set up for a wedding before. They even showed up without a ladder. They were running so late setting up for the ceremony that it delayed our entire wedding timeline. They also struggled to flip the room properly during cocktail hour, and had to leave up a crooked piece of draping for the entire night becasue they couldn't get it down (picture below). Jessica was actually nice to work with leading up to the wedding and I felt like she understood the vision we wanted to bring to life, but unfortunately was not on site on the day to make it happen. The only reasons we gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because they did refund us for the cost of the draping and we did like the way the flowers and Chuppah turned out.
We are so happy we went with Flowers for Dreams for our wedding day! Rachael was amazing to work with! Florals were not a top priority for us, so we appreciated Rachael's help minimizing the number of arrangements, while still making an impact. I absolutely loved my bouquet, as well as the candle arrangements they came up with. I was honestly speechless when I saw our reception space. They understood our vision and executed it perfectly! I also love their commitment to giving back and that they donated our flowers after the wedding. We would recommend Flowers for Dreams to anyone!
We worked with Flowers for Dreams out of Chicago, Casey Watters did such an amazing job! Our florals were so fresh and beautiful! She executed exactly what I wanted and more! The vases and candles were an added bonus! The flip from ceremony and reception went flawlessly as well! I think the value for what we paid for and pricing was extremely reasonable from other quotes I heard of from friends. Not to mention we and our guests took our florals home and they lasted another 2 weeks!! So amazing and can not recommend them more! USE THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING!!
We loved our wedding flowers and loved working with Flowers for Dreams! Kaylee was so helpful and kind and worked with us through all of the changes we made along the way. Their set up was exactly what we envisioned and my bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! The flowers looked perfect all night. Thank you so much again, Kaylee! Would highly recommend and use Flowers for Dreams for a future event.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachael and the Flowers for Dreams team! From the very beginning, Rachael took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in a way that exceeded anything we could have imagined. Every arrangement, every detail, felt intentional and inspired. The floral design created a truly magical atmosphere for our wedding. It was elegant, romantic, and perfectly aligned with the emotion and beauty of the day. Our guests were constantly mentioning the beauty of the floral arrangements, and we found ourselves constantly pausing to take in the stunning work the team had done. What stood out most was Rachael and her team’s ability to translate our ideas into something even more beautiful than we had pictured. The creativity, professionalism, and care from the team made the entire experience seamless and joyful. We are deeply grateful to Rachael and the Flowers for Dreams team for helping make our wedding unforgettable. Their work is extraordinary, and we would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking to elevate their celebration with exceptional floral design.
