I had a punch biopsy 1 week ago with a different dermatologist and unfortunately could not get into him to have my stitches looked at, due to swelling and drainage. Dr. Carroll's office and his staff went above and beyond to fit me in today and he has great bedside manner. Lauren at the front desk is super sweet and accommodating and I could not recommend them more. Very fast and efficient, I am lucky to work in the same building as these sweet people!
I have seen Dr Carroll a few times over the years. Each visit hes seemed less and less interested in my care. The final straw was my last visit this past fall, when he was so quick and dismissive. He also had an assistant with him and when my back was turned while standing in underwear, they appeared to exchange some sort of silent looks or conversation and she began snickering and laughing. It was so awkward and honestly made me want to cry. As a person with feelings, standing so vulnerable in very little clothing while people “assess” your skin, I found it highly inappropriate and insensitive that they would interact this way. I also had some concerning moles (previous skin cancer) and he blew my concerns off, and told me to come back in TWO Years. That’s way too long for a person with my skin history. I went to a new, thorough dermatologist last month, and they immediately noticed a concerning mole that was dead center in the middle of my back. its proximity to my back was a bullseye, if Dr Carroll had been paying attention, he wouldn’t have missed it. Sure enough, it was not typical. If I had waited another two years for him to possibly* notice it, my health may have been in much worse jeopardy.
This place is great, if you need a dermatologist I would highly recommend. The front desk girls are always so sweet, Savannah checked me in, took my information, and walked me through the iPad process. Dr. Nguyen was very professional, listened to my concerns, fully assessed, diagnosed, and educated me and made sure I did not have additional concerns. She performed an injection and I did not feel it at all. It was icy and Amanda even offered to help me to my car. The entire process is seamless and smooth. I would go again!
I'm a patient of Dr. Carroll and he is literally the best! I come here even though it's not in my insurance network so I still pay out of pocket, but it's 100% worth it. I had really annoying acne that would come and go, but he prescribed me things that cleared it within couple of months. I hated worrying about my skin but he's helped me so much, now I have no more acne! I really appreciate him and his expertise.
I had a skin biopsy last week with Dr. Nguyen and very happy with her surgery skills. She did very precisely on a thin tiny skin removed and made a job well done quickly. It is worth for me to make a long trip drivng from Garland to this clinic. I am sure I will come back here to this office if I need any skin cares later. Additional, my appointment was a little over the office lunch time, but staff members greeted me with a warm welcome and very friendly to help me. Thanks for your services.
