I joined this gym a few months ago. It has a great vibe, and everyone is friendly. Every day I go, I learn something new. I really enjoy the Boxfit, Metcon, and Goanna classes.
Come for the boxing and fitness. Stay for the family, you become. This is a gym like no other. My dad walked me in here as a fresh faced 18 year old in 1991, when we were still at the PCYC in Brookes St. I was full of anger, yet scared of the world. I was desperately looking for my tribe. That group of people who gave me meaning beyond my work and family. There were many paths, I could have landed on, but it was boxing, Fortitude Boxing, and the opportunities Steve Deller, put in front of me, to become a bigger, better version of myself, that helped keep me on the straight and narrow. If you're feeling lost, like the world is trying to beat down on you, or you have a kid, who is struggling to find a place that gives them space to grow, outside of the boxes our society wants to push them into, you will not find a better community to become part of. Fortitude is for families. Fortitude is one family.
I'm a youth worker. I bought a crew of kids aged from 9 through to 15 for a group session. Jake our trainer was awesome. All the kids were apprehensive but our trainer Jake had them all engaged/participating and they had a blast! We're now booked in for monthly sessions! Thanks Fortitude Valley Boxing!!! This will mean a lot to these kids ❤️
I Traveled from Cairns and Came to Fortitude Boxing Gym for 3 days whilst I am in Brisbane for a few days. Great gym, Great atmosphere and lots of talent. I thank the owner Steve for sorting me out a free pass to the fighters class and other morning classes during my little stay and also for setting me up with sparring with some very talented fighters. Thanks to everyone who made me feel welcomed and accommodated me and the different coaches that has helped me out. 100% recommend
Fortitude Boxing Gym is an extraordinary environment. I have been training boxing for a major part of my life, mostly overseas. Since I moved to Australia 10 years ago, I visited good boxing gyms here in Brisbane, but Fortitude is extraordinary. They helped me fulfil my dream of having an amateur fight through the Fight For A Cause program. All trainers are competent. They have a large pool of different classes, for any kind of target you have in mind. If you want to get the boxer experience and vibe, Fortitude is the place.
