I started doing physio therapy with Stephanie at the Edward St. location after a fall due to my left leg and foot being numb due to a nerve condition and a tennis elbow issue. Stephanie was very knowledgeable, patient, caring and kind as she helped me gradually reduce the numbness in my leg and the pain in my elbow. I would highly recommend this place.
I arrived at Foundation Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic with some serious back pain two weeks before my scheduled flight to Mexico. I found myself in the capable hands of Physiotherapist Alex Djuric. Within two weeks, having followed his assigned exercises, and having had 4 half hour appointments with Alex ,I was able to head off to Mexico pain free. I am very appreciative of his excellent care. I had been searching for a physiotherapist to help with some persistent knee pain, and I’m so glad I found Alex Djuric! From my very first session, I was impressed by his expertise, professionalism, and approachable attitude. Alex took the time to clearly explain the anatomy and underlying causes of my pain, then designed a thoughtful exercise plan to strengthen the surrounding muscles. When I later came in with climbing-related hip and elbow injuries, Alex once again put me at ease with his in-depth knowledge and recovery plan. Throughout my sessions, he was always positive, friendly, and genuinely invested in my progress. I appreciated how he adjusted the exercises to match my comfort level and worked the program around the resources I had. When I first started seeing Alex, I was wearing knee braces daily. Now, I only use one occasionally for a minor flare-up. After a broken ankle in May, I attended Foundation Physiotherapy and Wellness due to the proximity to my workplace and started working with Alex Djuric. Alex is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and works to understand your issues. My ankle issue has resolved and I've continued working with Alex on other pain points in my body. Alex ensured the work I did at home was manageable with any equipment I did or didn't have. I've seen several RMTs, chiropractors, and other health care practitioners over the years and Alex is one of the few who has been able to provide long-term relief.
