I've gone all over America to test coffeeshops! Foxtail is now number 1/2 on my Jacksonville list. The coffee is pretty good! Butter croissant was a bit overcooked but it was ok. Unlike other coffeeshops in the area (Southern Grounds) it doesn't suffer from a parking problem and you can easily park near the shop. Most of all it passed the 2-3 hour work sess test. My hotspot worked great, the seats were very comfy, and it was nice to work close but not too close to others doing the same or enjoying a chat. Best of all the ladies there were so sweet and helpful! This is now my primary coffeeshop.
I'm from Seattle and I live in Chicago .... not going to lie ... JAX is not a coffee town! A total zero out of 10. But ..... I walked over a mile from my hotel and over the bridge into San Marcos and discovered Fox Tail coffee! Ya'll!! What a sweet spot in a dead coffee town ...... I always always order an americano when trying a new spot out and Foxtail did not disappoint!! 5 out of 5 for the beans! 5 out of 5 for an adorb location with cute outdoor seating and a boho vibe! Saturday morning and it was packed! Great baristas and super friendly staff. Well worth the walk to find a hidden gem in San Marcos!
This is a very clean warm welcoming environment. Decorated for holidays and attire matching the theme as well. I am a veteran and have been out a job so was hoping the had a free deal for my service. I asked they said 15% off for veterans, which is awesome. Being as I was broke I said thank you but I cannot afford anything at the moment. They stopped me from walking away and asked what I wanted. They were so kind and compassionate, something that happened so not the norm in today's society. Truly from my heart thank you and God bless to your employees and business.
Pretty, airy, and inviting. Clean and picture friendly. Great selection: Good coffee, servers ready to fix up a drink any way you need it, a selection of beer on tap. Baristas were nice and pleasant. Great coffee shop!
Great place to grab coffee and study and work. Carefully placed outlets for laptop and phones, perfect for people who are studying and working. Indoor and outdoor seating. They also have beer and ice cream on tap For an afternoon date! Centrally located close to the Highway and next to Publix in San Marco. Great service. If you buy a black brew the refills are free while dining in.
