I cant quite give this zero stars because I have found some cool stuff here at a decent price. But I highly do not recommend dropping off any clothes here. A while back I brought a huge amount of nice clothes in great condition. Like 6 pairs of Levis, 3 pairs of slacks, 3 jackets and like 5 nice button ups (carhartt, wrangler, etc.) They told me I could either take cash, or I could get a larger amount of store credit, and the store credit would be saved indefinitely under my name and phone number. I said "ok, so we're clear, all I have to do is come back and give you my phone number and my money/store credit will be saved and usable, and there is no time limit?" And they assured me that was the case. Sure enough, I came back today and gave them my phone number when checking out and they said they have nothing saved under that number, or under my name. Didnt offer to do anything to fix it, just told me I was out of luck because its not coming up (ie they lost my info and therefore dont owe me any credit.) Pretty convenient for them right? There are better used clothing joints in Sac to go to. You can find some stuff here but this business sucks and most (but not all) stuff is kinda overpriced for used clothes
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! WAY BETTER PLACES IN SAC!!! this was probably the worst thrift store i’ve ever been to. thrift stores that sell shirts for over $10 are not thrift stores, they are overpriced used clothing stores. a metallica shirt i found that i really liked was $16. this is $2 over double what it could cost me to get a 3 pack of blank shirts at target. i will never waste my time attending this store again. i hope nobody else does either because this was embarrassing. UPDATE 1: AFTER shipping fees, getting a barely used vintage-ish carhartt jacket online was cheaper than one vans jacket in this store, which was roughly $23 after sales taxes.
This place has one of the largest selections for men's clothing in Sacramento
I dropped a bag of clothes off to sell, and I feel like they already decided they weren’t taking it the minute I walked in. Got my bag of clothes back untouched. Literally the same way I gave it. Anyways their loss on cash since I brought a lot of the nice brands (many of my old Aritzia, lululemon, etc) they buy. To be honest it genuinely seemed the employees here are uninterested and lazy. Gave the generic “our racks are full excuse”. Sorry, I can see through and clock BS real fast, so your loss. Save your time and go to Plato’s closet or Crossroads. Bought nearly all of my pieces and they were much more fair than them, and friendlier as well. Don’t waste your time here.
So first of all the sales people are liars, I called about a week before I sold my clothes here and the lady told me that they were very busy and often have lines outside of the door so I should probably come first thing in the morning. Then she told me that it didn’t matter if you had your clothes in trash bags or not because that was an old policy. Which turned out not to be true. I finally go into this place yesterday and I came around 1 there were only about 3 people there and I also was not informed that you can only bring 1 basket they then took my basket which had lots of Jordan’s Aeropostale popular prom dresses and more and they just called me today saying there only taking 3 items of 10$ which is a waste of time and a complete low ball I don’t suggest this place to anyone and I don’t appreciate lying at all!
