Frist Art Museum est une destination culturelle de Nashville, installée dans un bâtiment Art déco historique au 919 Broadway, qui était autrefois le bureau de poste principal. Le musée et la boutique proposent des expositions tournantes — notamment Paul McCartney Photographs et The New African Masquerade — et offrent des visites architecturales gratuites le week-end ainsi que des heures d'ouverture le jeudi soir. Un café accueillant, avec de la musique live, complète l'art, la culture et l'apprentissage.

Decent but it always seems like they are holding back. They could do better. Like an exhibit of Paul McCartney photos?! I’d rather the museum be completely filled with future artist photos like the one hallway of kids art! The kids play area is always solid for the kidos!
This is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours learning about Nashville through their public development display, and to enjoy their current exhibitions. Both the African mask and artwork display, as well as the Paul McCartney photographs were excellently curated. It was a welcome respite from the revelry and fun just a few steps away.
Lovely museum in a historic landmark, once a U.S. post office with free architectural tours on the weekends. Rotating exhibitions will keep you coming back. The Paul McCartney Photographs and the New African Masquerade exhibitions were inspiring and thought provoking. We visited on a Thursday with evening hours until 8 pm. Stop by the cafe for some live music and tasty pizza.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the space itself is beautifully designed. It’s a peaceful and inspiring spot for anyone who appreciates art and culture. Highly recommended!
Nice art museum to visit. The second floor was not open the day we visited or I’d rate it higher. Super friendly staff and the Cafe Cheeserie inside was a quiet affordable place to get lunch. The art deco style building used to be the main post office. Overall a good experience.
