Des plats à partager tels que Gnocco Fritto accompagnés de ricotta fouettée pour un début léger et gourmand.
The best! Great everything! This is a repeat visit for me any time im in Adelaide. The gnocco fritto with ricotta is to die for! Tonight I also had a vodka pasta with a nice glass of Chianti. The service is so polished and friendly. The decor feels cool and stylish in an old world way, just love it!
I really enjoyed all the snacks. The pastas were great, full of flavour, and the steak was cooked perfectly, super soft and tender. Service was friendly and attentive as well, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely come back.
We had a truly memorable dining experience, with each course beautifully executed and thoughtfully presented. The Yellowfin Tuna with seaweed cracker, citrus cream, and Davidson plum was a refined and vibrant start (fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced). The Spencer Gulf king prawn cocktail was an elegant take on a classic, with sweet, succulent prawns complemented by a silky sauce Rose Marie, kaffir lime, and crisp butter lettuce. The gnocco fritto was light and golden, paired perfectly with whipped ricotta, honey, cracked black pepper, EVOO, and sea salt (simple yet indulgent). The ‘2 Gulfs’ hand-picked blue swimmer crab taglierini was a standout, generously layered with sweet crab, subtle chilli and garlic, and finished with bursts of salmon roe. The meal concluded with the 6–7 score Stockyard wagyu rump cap, cooked to perfection and rich in flavour, showcasing exceptional quality. Toby provided truly outstanding service from start to finish. He took the time to thoughtfully explain each dish and what the meal would involve, demonstrating impressive knowledge and care. He was exceptionally attentive to our requirements, ensuring every detail was considered and met with ease. He checked in at just the right moments between courses, making us feel well looked after without ever feeling rushed or interrupted. What truly set him apart was his genuine warmth (he kindly engaged our young daughter, keeping her happy and entertained, which made the entire dining experience relaxed and memorable). A perfect balance of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. An exceptional evening of food and service that we would highly recommend and look forward to enjoying again.
We had a Xmas work function. They were accommodating our strange dietary requirements. The food was delicious however it was hard to enjoy our self’s due to it being incredibly hot. We were in the semi private area which did not feel like any air conditioning or fan was even on. Several of us had to make makeshift fans just to cool us a bit. Considering it was a nearly 40c it was really difficult to enjoy ourselves. I’m not aware what was charge for everything but we also ordered 3 lobsters but we only received 3 half lobsters. Thankfully we had plenty of food and did not need anymore but considering it was preordered it should have been communicated that it would only be a half lobsters. The waiter accidentally I’m guessing it was a heat issue but the staff that served were very flat. They weren’t rude but it came across they really didn’t want to be there. One of the waiters also dropped a drink on one of my colleagues which was just an unfortunate accident with the glass breaking in the floor. The staff member was very apologetic. I would have thought someone should of tried to assist my colleague to get cleaned up. The drink was very sticky which meant she ended up having to leave early as it was in her hair and down her back. I would have loved to give 5 stars as the food was amazing but couldn’t due to the above especially the heating issue. I would love to return and see if it was just a once off.
I totally rate Fugazzi - they are right up there with some of the best Adelaide has to offer. One chef's hat but the quality of food certainly punches above its weight. I recommend trying the Lusso Tasting Menu which is an five course meal with a selection of dishes chosen by the chef for $135 per head, which is worthwhile. I couldn't really fault any of the dishes served as they are all good, from entrees through to dessert. The dishes were: Smoky Bay Pacific Oysters, Spencer Gulf King Prawn Cocktail, Yellowfin tuna, Gnocco Fritto, Blue swimmer crab taglierini, Black Onyx rump cap, shoestring fries, leaf salad. For dessert we had Crostolli 'Mille Feuille', Strawberry Pistachio & Fior Di Latte Gelato. The price was $135 per head which I believe is great value for money. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Regards @fooderarri
