💈My wife took our two sons, ages 14 and 9, to Funk’s Barbershop. Lawrence Funk gave them both excellent haircuts. He was extremely friendly. His shop has a fun atmosphere.💈
Didn't get a haircut but made friendly conversation on the street and were invited in to check out the place and chit chat. The vibes were on point. Just straight good people, gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat/things to do while we are in Chicago. Honestly would go back just to hang out, but they were busy for cuts too and everyone was looking good 👍. Fancy is the dog, cutest mascot ever

My barber, Miguel, never lets me down and always does a great job cutting my hair. I leave feeling more confident and fresh! And the relaxation factor of getting my cut is always something to look forward too. The lather and hot towel is very soothing.
I'm very particular about my beard. After searching online, it was clear that Funk's barbershop seemed to stand out above all others. I was not disappointed! What an amazing experience. Lawrence and his entire staff are top notch. You get that old school shop feeling with all the modern amenities. Lawrence did an absolutely amazing job with my beard. He actively listened to my concerns and offered suggestions when needed. I walked out looking and feeling like a million bucks. Book your appointment with Lawrence or any of his staff. I'll be back soon! Side note - There was a dude off the street whose truck wouldn't start. Lawrence and his staff went out of their way to pull Lawrence's personal vehicle around to the front of the shop to help charge the man's truck and get him on his way. Says a lot about a person and his business when you see something selfless like that happen.
