Really helpful crew. Rented four seats on a party boat with them. Caught a 37” red drum and they helped my son and me pull it in. Fair prices at the concession stand. Definitely recommend!
We had a really nice experience with Galveston Party Boats. On the 4-hour trip we only caught a few sharks, so next time we’ll definitely book the 8-hour one. The crew was friendly and very helpful, and overall we had a great time out on the water.
We went on a sunny summer Saturday 12hrs trip for the first time on Galveston Party Boat fishing, the boat was full with 100 fishermen. I have been on the 4hrs many times before with my sons in the bay area, this was our first outside the bay. It was supposed to be 4hr ride to first fishing spot, 4hrs of fishing, and 4hrs of ride back to the port. I was surprised that we moved around so much after we hit the first fishing spot, I think we only fished a total of 1hr30mins of fishing? We would get to a spot fish for 10-20 mins, then the captain would tell us to pull up our lines so we can move to another spot. It would take 10-15 mins to get to another spot and another 10-15mins to anchor down the boat. So basically you would spend majority of your time just moving and waiting for the boat to settle down to get to actually fish. Most everyone caught something at every fishing spot, our party of 4 caught at least 10 fish total, but were only able to keep 2-3 fish due to the size. The crews were great, they tried to help everyone as much as possible, but 5 crew members tending to 100 fishermen were not enough since we were getting tangled and hard to get the hooks out without one of the crew members using their tool to remove the hooks out without from the fish. If you have a hook removal tool, bring it with your. Overall, it was a great experience since we caught fish but would prefer to fish more than moving around so much.
My brothers and I had a blast! Very relaxed atmosphere and just there for the fishing. Will definitely make this a yearly trip!
Let’s start off with the grill absolutely love that, no running around in the morning, looking for breakfast. The boat had 90 + seating was limited now there is WiFi you can rent for 7 bucks. They had two tv inside that showed the depth but I feel like they need a movie or music on in the cab. if you don’t like the movie music go outside enjoy the sea spray can’t go wrong with classic rock. First time I’ve ever been so close to a oil rig in a party boat we tied off 5-10 ft from it I wish we could have stayed longer than 15 min but we were there for red snapper I wanted to catch just a couple more variety of fish. All in all I will be back captain timing sucks the over all experience was spot on
