As Nashville locals attending a holiday work party, we were disappointed by the General Jackson experience. While the Christmas-themed show was pleasant and the familiar songs were a nice touch, the rest of the evening fell flat. The food was subpar and lacked seasoning, and the drink prices were astronomical. It felt like a 'tourist trap' that doesn't quite live up to the price tag. We wouldn't recommend spending your Nashville budget here.
Beautiful and wonderful! Great food and great music. My boys loved being on the boat. They sang Christmas music and gave glory to Jesus as being the reason for the season. Loved it all
I've been on the general Jackson before a very long time ago. Never experienced the most wonderful time like I did tonight. The food is amazing, entertainment was lovely. The bathrooms could use some TLC. Just overall was very nice. This was also my husband's first time on the General Jackson and he had a blast. So thank you to the General Jackson for a wonderful time.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, the staff was warm and attentive, and the entire show exceeded expectations. I’ve lived in Nashville for over 13 years, and it was such a treat to experience the city from a completely different perspective on the river. Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting for the first time, this is such a fun and unique way to experience Nashville. I can’t say enough good things about the talented cast on board—truly some of the most impressive and entertaining Nashvillians I’ve seen on stage. Highly recommend. 👏🎶🚢
What an experience!! This was such an enjoyable evening of music combined with a tranquil and scenic boat cruise. The staff was absolutely wonderful throughout, from boarding, to bartenders, servers and even the gift shop. The entertainment was also outstanding with the top deck band before dinner and the main revue show after. Both were exceptional. The food was quite good with a buffet style meal with several options and a cheesecake dessert that was very tasty. All in all I would highly recommend this experience as the value was incredible! Bookable online with free shuttle from the Gaylord Opryland hotel as well.
