Pros: Great location. A couple of blocks away from Rocket Arena, on ground floor of hotel Nostalgic decor. Had 2 slices of the Hot Tito. Good amount of cheese, honey drip was very nice touch. USD$6/slice Cons: took 40 mins to get 2 slices of pizza (that was ready in the window). The 17 mins wait to order 2 slices off the machine is reasonable BC there were 8 people ahead in line. But to wait another 25 mins to get 2 warm slices served on thin paper plates is terrible. What should have been a 17 min transaction took 40 mins. It took 30+ mins for guy ahead of me to get 4 cans of beer. It should only take a couple of minutes to bag the slice and collect the cash These guys have a good product and location but the service (albeit friendly) is horrendous. 40 mins is way too long to get a slice of pizza. Easy fix. Bag the pizza from the window and collect the cash. Get rid of machine to speed up the transactions (many people ahead of us were having trouble ordering)
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to review Geraci’s following my first visit. I was lured in by the mention of a visit from Food Network and awards posted on the wall, but don’t be fooled. Whatever acclaim this restaurant had in its hey-day does not apply today. To begin, the physical menus available in-restaurant are outdated and do not reflect current pricing of items. When ordering at the kiosk, the price for a slice of cheese is the same price as the price of a specialty slice, which is different from what is shown on the menu. I understand the difficulty of reprinting menus, but simply remove them from the floor if they no longer reflect current pricing. Most importantly though, the food. We ordered a total of 3 slices and the garlic pillows (knots) with sides of ranch. The pizza itself was so disappointing and incredibly greasy, there was grease soaking through the plate. The garlic pillows were stale and dry. I personally only took a few bites of my slice and threw it away it was that tough to eat. Something about the flavor was off and the grease made it difficult to continue eating. While I appreciated the atmosphere, certainly reminiscent of an old pizza shop in the heart of Cleveland, the food quality is where my review is derived from. You are best taking your money elsewhere for a better bite of food.
Cute location! The hours on google are not reflected in the actual hours they are open!! The space was very hot and I would say too hot to eat inside the restaurant. We needed up taking our pizza to the arcade seating for all the space. The pizza was okayish- a little dry and very "warmed" tasting for the price point. The salads were fresh. A solid 3 for food. Just average in my opinion.
Wow!! BEST VEGAN PIZZA I have EVER HAD!! First off, I have a dairy allergy, so I have been searching for a good vegan cheese pizza for so long, I have tried some, and while enjoyed (simply because options were limited) nothing truly hit the spot. My boyfriend decided this would be a good spot to try out. We ordered a pizza with vegan cheese, bacon, and pineapple (don't judge). When we walked in the man who greeted us (I believe his name was Darrell (maybe it was with a J)) was extremely kind, had great energy, and was super helpful. He let us know the wait for the pizza and apologized explaining why. No big deal, we were in no rush and the wait was only about 12 minutes. Super grateful for the wait because this place was so so cute! I loved the variety of stained glass lamps, vintage pieces, games, just a cool spot to be in! When we got our pizza we took a look and knew immediately this was going to top anything else we had. The texture of the crust was amazing, it had a great amount of sauce, and the cheese was good too (obviously still has the vegan cheese texture) but it was a little more toasted near the top and the flavor was just out of this world compared to anything else l've had. We will be back for sure! This is the BEST!
Huge thank you to Darell (hope I’m spelling this right) and the team here. It’s rare we get to have pizza with a dairy allergy in the mix, so after trying a few subpar pies elsewhere, and doing some research, Geraci’s stuck out as a front runner in the online reviews. Darell informed us as we walked in that our pick-up pie was just getting in the oven. Definitely a minor inconvenience, as we wanted to spend some time taking advantage of the aesthetic masterpiece they’ve devised for this location. He offered us some complimentary water while we waited, and assured us the pizza would be hot and ready soon. We took some time to play with our cameras, play some Ms. Pac-Man and really enjoy the space. Before we knew it, our pizza was ready. We were extremely excited, and I think it was showing! Darell invited us to open it up and take a look. Our eyes were amazed at the sight! We took it home and it did not disappoint! It was pricey, but 100% worth every penny. We will be back, again and again. Best pizza I’ve had in Cleveland, EVER!
