Waited 25 minutes in line to order fries for my kid. I was told NO side order of fries unless a meal is also ordered because they were so busy. The menu clearly had fries listed separately with an itemized price. However, I had already ordered food from another vendor for myself or I may have considered it. No change to their sign was made, and no announcement was made. So I had no idea until I finally made it to the counter and wasted 25 minutes for literally no reason.
If you've ever seen the 2022 classic film, The Menu, you know the scene in which our protagonist, Margot, orders a burger that quiet literally saves her life. I don't know if the GK Burger is capable of such feats, but it a dang good burger! Staff working the truck the night we stopped by were friendly and went out of their way to help a customer in front of me with an odd request, which I think was might kind of them! Took a little time to get the food but they were busy and it takes time to make something taste as good as this burger did. 😊
Hi, I wanted to share some honest feedback about the burger I ordered. What I received looks nothing like what’s advertised on your Instagram. For \$17, I expected a lot better, especially when the post clearly shows a juicy double cheeseburger with generous sauce and toppings. Instead, I got a dry burger with just one slice of cheese and barely any sauce. It felt stingy and underwhelming. If you're going to promote something that looks indulgent and stacked, customers should be served the same quality. Really disappointed with the experience. I hope this gets addressed.
Ordered food from GK and was extremely sad we hadn’t found this place sooner!! My husband and I both got the smash burger and it was SO good, tasted so fresh, and that GK sauce was fire. Fries are also so good. We’re not from the area but if we were this would def be a go to spot for us.
Awe yeah! First of all, really nice / professional people. Very appreciative of that. I ordered, my wait was minimal, and they walked over and gave me my food. Simple steps that lots of other businesses have screwed up. Okay the food. BEST BURGER I HAVE EATEN IN NORFOLK. I ordered the GK, and the simplicity of the ingredients, along with the complexity of the flavors made me want to order another one. It's just a damn good burger. I love the char of the seasoned beef, and there's a perfect cheesiness to it, along with the soft bun and condiments. As an app....lol...I ordered the Danger Dog. I would eat both the burger and the dog three times a week. To add to the yumminess, you get fries with everything. The crispy crunchy kind. Whatever they do to them, you don't need ketchup or sauce on them. I ate all of it. Thank you. Well done.
