We booked Gleem for an end-of-tenancy deep clean and were very impressed with the service. The booking process was straightforward, communication was clear, and the team arrived on time. The flat was cleaned thoroughly and to a very high standard: kitchen (including oven), bathrooms, floors, skirting boards, and windows were all spotless and clearly done with care. This was an end-of-tenancy clean and the property was left in excellent condition for checkout, which gave us real peace of mind. Overall, a professional, reliable service and good value for money. Would definitely recommend and would use again.
We went to Gleem with money to spend on a fortnightly regular clean and several extra deep clean items, having found it difficult to find a reliable, good quality service. Gleem's offering sounded exactly what we were looking for — on paper. This service came at a higher price point than competitors. Unfortunately I've made the decision to no longer use Gleem for these reasons: Outsourced VAs are highly attentive but don't actually understand what we say to them fully. Example: VA: when do you want to book the next clean? Us: Thursday or Friday VA: I'll call you back to let you know They would then call back, ask the same question.. then the next time ask to book it in for a Tuesday. We'd say we can't do that as discussed... this cycle was just one example that happened on repeat and preceeded a ny actual cleaning! To their own detriment our original requests for paid extra items got lost in the confusion. Then, on cleaning days, without fail there would be a no-show or adjustment to the clean which was irritating. Also gleem regularly cited that the alotted time of 2 hrs was not enough to do the regular non-deep clean for our 2 bed apartment. When the cleaners did actually show they missed out entire rooms from the clean saying they ran out of time. To help with this we sent an itemised breakdown of what we wanted for each room to streamline and share with the cleaners, which was pretty minimal for each room, e.g. hoover, wipe surfaces... this still resulted in the attempted up sell to which we were resistant as we already had requested other additional cost services that never got done. We don't want to give you more money for an upsell when you've failed to deliver repeatedly on your original promise and introduced a high burden of administrative overhead - the very thing I'm looking to pay to offload by hiring a cleaner in the first place. Something for the gleem business owners to think about.
Charged us £290 for 6 hr deep clean. Left after 3hrs House still dirty throughout. I would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed in the service. Our weekly £50 cleaner was more thorough.
I booked Gleem cleaning for a weekly clean for my one bedroom flat. The first week I was satisfied with the clean, however the next week was a no show. I was offered a complimentary clean, to which the cleaner did not show up again, another was scheduled for the next day and turned up 2 hours late. The following week the cleaner turned up but left dirty cloths around the kitchen, blue roll on my bedroom floor and generally did not complete a professional clean. I strongly advise not going with this company.
The customer service arranged an urgent deep clean because I put the wrong date. They were very helpful and fast. The cleaner arrived within the given time period and cleaned everything to my satisfaction. 10/10, would use again.
