Very disappointed with the service I received yesterday. I visited the shop in the morning to book a massage and was told to return at 3pm. I went home and came back later in the afternoon, only to find that my name hadn’t been recorded in the booking system. There was no explanation offered by the staff member at the counter. She didn’t even try to book me back in urgently. It was just a sorry it’s not in here and there’s the door as we are booked out. I had really been looking forward to this appointment — my back was aching from the gym, and I genuinely needed the relief. I had also reorganised my day around this appt. Instead, I left feeling completely let down. The staff member simply apologised and showed me the door, without offering any solution or assistance. I’ve been coming to this massage shop for years and have recommended it to so many people looking for a great massage on the Gold Coast. That’s why the lack of care and professionalism yesterday came as such a shock. In the moment, I walked around to the massage shop next to Tarte, hoping to get a last-minute appointment, only to realise it’s connected to the same business on James Street. I’m unsure if there’s been a change in ownership or staff or they are now owned by each other, but I’ve never experienced this kind of service before. This experience ultimately led me to discover a new massage place in Burleigh Stocklands called Pattaya. I saw Alex, and he was incredible — welcoming, professional, and genuinely accommodating. It was a complete contrast to what I had experienced earlier in the day.
Amazing strong traditional Thai massage. So excellent. We were walk ins and welcomed warmly. It was the perfect morning weekend treat after a very long week! Thank you so much team for taking such great care of my husband and me. We are grateful for your business ❤️
