I had my orientation at this location today. I was welcomed by Faycal Kebdi. The wait time was not long at all. Faycal discussed my goals and current lifestyle and provided the tour. He was knowledgeable and gave good advice and demonstrated how some of the equipment worked. All the trainers and staff seem super nice and friendly. Great atmosphere, change rooms were clean and convenient location for government workers or those living downtown.
Jordan Thoms: I used to play at professional level for 12 years however I had huge struggle during COVID and after wards. Jordan was amazing (level 5 PT and certified kinesiologist) and very knowledgeable. He pushed me, motivated me, and made me so excited for every session with me. The spirit and motivation to the gym is back and I am just back! My body is back and my strength is back. If you have high goal, Jordan is your person! One of the best decisions I have made for my health and well-being. Thank you Jordan for all you do and for being who you are!
24/7, spacious and comfortable. I just wish the layout was more ergonomically accurate but it is not a big deal! The staff is always smiling and very polite and the gym is clean.
As a GoodLife member, I’ve had a great experience with the Les Mills GRIT program. It’s an intense, challenging workout that really pushes you to your limits and delivers amazing results in a short amount of time. If you’re looking for something that gets your heart rate up and leaves you feeling accomplished, GRIT definitely delivers. The instructor, Stephanie, deserves special recognition for her positive energy and constant encouragement. She creates a motivating and supportive environment that helps everyone stay focused and push through even the toughest intervals. You truly feel supported, no matter your fitness level. One suggestion I’d love to see implemented is offering Les Mills GRIT on a weeknight. Adding an evening option would make it more accessible for the majority of members who attend classes after work and would likely boost participation in this program. GRIT provides a different option for members that are used to the standard classes offered most nights. Classes are what set GoodLife apart from other gyms and having a good variety is crucial to keeping it fresh. Overall, this is an excellent program, and I’m confident that more members would absolutely enjoy it as well as benefit from this challenging and rewarding workout. 💪
I try my best to remember the names of staff because they’re all so great. Emily at the front desk is always so helpful with a kind word on the way in and out. Shea is always cleaning… good at his job… aura clearly goes crazy. Madi is constantly smiling and is super approachable with a hello every time I come in. Queen and Bank is truly a great club and I always enjoy coming in for a workout. Great staff, great club culture! Will be back:)
