After years of recurring hip pain following a hairline fracture, I was told by my orthopedic surgeon that a hip replacement was my only option. I wasn’t fully convinced and decided to explore alternative treatments, which led me to Goodman Performance Therapy. After just one session and following the prescribed home exercises, I am now pain-free. Ryan took the time to thoroughly assess the issue, clearly explain what was causing my pain, and outline a thoughtful, personalized plan. The session included dry needling and a comprehensive physical therapy exercise program that finally gave me both relief and understanding of my body. I now feel empowered with a solution that actually works. I can’t recommend Goodman Performance Therapy or dry needling highly enough!
Have had phenomenal results going to Ryan. He’s used his expertise and wide-ranging skill set to effectively treat my acute and chronic issues. I am always impressed by his knowledge in needling, and have confidence that he will deliver safe, best practice care (pretty important when needles are involved!). I’ve seen a number of PT’s over the years and he’s the best!
Before I scheduled my first appointment with Ryan, the only way I could move my right arm was with the aid of a stick. Six days after doing his prescribed isometric exercises, along with shoulder the stretching he did at my first appointment, I could move my arm again. I continued therapy, and now I am able to return to my happy place, the tennis courts. At age 62, I thought I might have to hang up my raquet. I have had several physical therapists over the years, none of them came close to Ryan's expertise. His treatment methods are insightful, innovative and effective. I am so thankful l was referred to Ryan Goodman.
Goodman Performance Therapy was recommended to me by a coworker. I was anxious at first about dry needling because I do not like needles but it has made a huge difference in the tennis elbow that I sought treatment for. The needling process is a little uncomfortable at times but not painful. I have even started treatment for migraines and saw an improvement after the first visit. Ryan is knowledgeable and always follow up after treatment. I highly recommend this treatment so if you are on the fence, take the chance.
Goodman Performance is by far the best and most effective therapy I have ever received. Ryan is super knowledgeable and the therapy methods he employs are super effective. I had an issue I was dealing with for years and Ryan was able to identify it and begin to relieve it in one visit after I had visited countless other doctors/professions for help. He is my first stop now with any issues along those lines. I recommend him all the time and I will continue to do so.
