A fantastic jiu-jitsu school for kids! The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly invested in building confidence, discipline, and skills in a safe, positive environment. My daughter absolutely loves going and has grown so much both on and off the mat.
Couldn’t recommend Gracie Barra more. From the welcoming and friendly professors and staff, to the cleanliness and large area for families- especially with a crèche for young children. You can see the passion in training at each class. My son has personally benefited and grown so much through his training with his professors. He loves his Jujitsu days! This gym is very well run. The instructors have a deep knowledge of BJJ and a commitment to sharing the very best of it. There is so much to like from the friendly atmosphere, awesome training partners, variety of high level instructors, premium mats and a great timetable that has sessions available at times that will work for your schedule. Amazing BJJ school with a truly supportive and welcoming atmosphere! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Specifically Prof Teco who has a way in breaking down techniques into fundamental concepts clearly for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Gracie Barra is definitely the place to train Jiu-Jitsu. With over 25 years of experience on the mats, including many years as a black belt and former Jiu-Jitsu academy owner. I’ve dedicated most of my life to this art. After running my own school, I made the decision to step away from business ownership and return to what I love most: training and learning. At this stage in my journey, with some physical limitations due to past injuries, surgery, and age, finding a supportive environment was essential. The entire Gracie Barra team has been incredibly understanding and helpful, always making sure I can train safely while still pushing myself and continuing to grow. Knowing Professor Mohamed personally for many years, I was confident that Gracie Barra would meet the high standards I was looking for, and it has exceeded them. The coaching team is exceptionally skilled, and what stands out is how each coach brings their own unique teaching style, combined with the Gracie Barra learning methodology. This creates a dynamic and enriching environment that makes every session truly worthwhile.
