Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Chesapeake/Hampton Roads Karate propose un enseignement expert du Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu pour tous les âges, des enfants aux adultes. My family and I went to this place for several months around 2020-2021 at their old location and had a great time. Now, at the new location, they have double the space and amenities for changing, water fountains, seating, apparel for purchase and a nice front desk/ waiting area. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful and they are experts of teaching the curriculum, which for us was Gracie BJJ which is already broken down into digestible, easy-to-learn slices. I’ve been working on combatives on and off, and my kids did combatives and Bullyproof, and now they have a new teen combatives class. Something for all ages. Pricing is fair and adequate. They keep the facilities well ventilated, air conditioned and very clean. I’m glad we came back after a fess only to find the place better than we left it!
My son has been going here for a few weeks now and he is hooked. Mr. Troy a the other instructors make the classes fun and easy for the kids to pay attention.
Very friendly and welcoming. A family oriented atmosphere. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a warm and supportive place to help your child grow in confidence to give Gracie Jiu-Jitsu a try.
My daughter attends the Jiu-Jitsu Bullyproof class and she loves it! We’ve been going for a little over a month. Coach Troy is patient, encouraging, and makes sure every student get one-on-one instructional time. He explains moves clearly and gives the kids time to practice while keeping the class fun and engaging. I especially appreciate his patience with the kids. We’re very happy with the program!
I love how Gracie’s help my granddaughter understand what is the difference between bullying and playing around. They have also taken the time to teach her how to de-escalate a situation and that defending yourself should be a last resort. I also liked the fact they offer you a free trial to see if it is something your child will like. I would recommend this place to anyone. They take an active approach with the kids .
