I love Green Beans. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely takes the time to get to know their customers. From the coffee and chai to the pastries and specials, everything is consistently delicious. They have a walk-up window that’s perfect if you’re out with your dog — and they even keep dog treats on hand, which my pup now expects on our morning walks. They’re also great with kids and always happy to help our 6-year-old find something new to try. It’s a wonderful place to grab something to go, sit outside and people-watch, catch up with a friend, or get a few hours of work done. During the day it’s full of remote workers without feeling crowded — just the right amount of energy. A true neighborhood gem.
We’re lucky enough to live just around the corner from this place, and it’s become part of our daily rhythm. Most days, our walks go by here and our dog, Toast, insists on it. He’s on a first-name basis with the staff and has somehow become friends with half the regulars through the walk-up window alone. The coffee is consistently excellent, the chai teas are some of the best around, and the bagels and cream cheese never miss. But what really makes this place special is the people. Every member of the staff is kind, welcoming, and genuinely good at what they do. The owners are wonderful, and even their kids add to the warmth and community feel that makes this spot so special. It’s more than a coffee shop—it’s a neighborhood anchor. If you’re in the area, you should absolutely stop by. And if they ask how you found them, tell them Toast sent you.
The barista is talented here! When you take the lid off your latte you'll see some latte art. It's a shame the talent goes unseen since everything is served in to-go cups. Things you should know: I. PARKING Your best bet is any parallel street spots in the neighborhoods. Just anticipate having to walk a little distance to get to the entry. II. SERVICE They have a self-water station, dairy free alternatives and a singular sugar-free syrup option of the variety. Everything is given in a disposable to-go container. III. CAPACITY Fair amount of seating inside, with about 2-3 small tables outside. The couches are more available than the table space on busy days.
This coffee shop is an absolute gem. The coffee is excellent, and the London Fog has become my go-to companion for a productive workday. The atmosphere is bright, open, and welcoming, with quiet, calming music that makes it easy to focus or unwind. Chai tea, latte, matcha, hot tea are all delicious. The only unimpressive thing I've had on the menu is the iced coffee. My disappointment of this is amplified by everything else being so great. There’s no shortage of comfortable tables inside for working or catching up with friends, plus a charming patio and even a walk-up window for people strolling with their dogs. I’ve noticed families with infants here too, and the relaxed vibe seems to put everyone at ease. Honestly, I’m more productive here than at home or at any other coffee shop in the area. As far as their food, I would eat the curry chicken salad sandwich every day if I could. All of their sandwiches and pastries are solid. To top it off, the barista I’ve seen on every visit is personable, engaging, and makes you feel instantly at home. Apparently he just had a birthday so he's everything you expect a Leo to be.
Atlanta is unique for always having amazing coffee shops, and this one was worth the drive even though it was out of my way. Cheers to John from Philadelphia for the warm welcome and just being yourself. I’ve always believed it’s the people who make the place, not the other way around. Being welcoming, present, and friendly to anyone who crosses our path is what makes a place special. Now, about the coffee spot—great interior with a beautiful design, a comfortable sofa in the middle, and plenty of open space. My latte was perfect (photo attached—let me know what you think!). The place has a romantic vibe; if I had a coffee-loving partner, this would be our Sunday spot, and the drive would be worth it. Maybe one day I’ll settle down for that! In summary: great service, a new spot with ample room to work away from home, an excellent cup of coffee, and an open, inviting space. Cheers, BN
