We spent a huge amount of money on our child's birthday party. We were asked to tip the host. Which is fine, but our host only came to our bay to just bring us our pizzas and drinks. Never checked on us or asked what she could do to help. Sadly this will be our last birthday spent here as we've had it here numerous of times with better service.
I used to really like coming to Ground Control OKC, but my last visit was a disappointment. You can still get a day pass, but now they make you sit through a long talk about their membership program first. It feels like you are being pressured into signing up instead of just enjoying your time there. I came to climb and have fun, not to listen to a sales pitch. The whole process takes away from the relaxed and friendly atmosphere the park used to have. I really hope they change this policy and make it easier for people who just want to come for the day.
This place is pretty fun for everyone involved. If you're gonna go more than once a month it's worth it to get the 3 month membership. It just comes out to a better deal than paying each time you go. They have an arcade area, slides, zip lines, dodge ball, trampolines (obviously), and obstacle course. There's an upset area for parents to sit and watch if you're not joining in. They have concession area as well.
11:30am, 1st time going and 1st impression from walking in was unpleasant! There were 2 spots of throw up in front of the building that looked like it's been there for some hours. Was greeted by a friendly employee as we walked in who informed us if the waiver and how to fill it out, easy process. Went to pay and the employee just quickly went over the pricing with no mention of memberships until I asked about it. Basic is 19.99 a month per person M-F only. I was interested in buying the basic membership but was informed that if we did we would still have to pay an additional 19.99 per person because today was Saturday, I declined. I was disappointed at this because as a business that just opened you'd think they would want as many membership Sign-ups as possible. Once we paid and made our way around the establishment it was very clean, friendly employees and plenty to do! Kids had a blast, they especially enjoyed the zip line and slides! Pizza and funnel fries were not bad, definitely had worse. Would have given 5 stars had I not seen the throw up outside and I was able to purchase the basic membership and be allowed to play today without being charged an additional 19.99 per person.
Such a fun place with amazing staff & food! I absolutely love the colors, so vibrant and fun. ☺️ the one thing I really enjoy about this place that’s definitely different than other jump places is that they don’t do the normal foam pits. They have super squishy and comfy mats. They also have a large slide that the kids absolutely had fun on. The food is really good and flavorful. The staff is so kind and personable. 1000/10!
