If I go to a Guitar Center, the overwhelming odds are it will be this one. Above all, the store staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and definitely willing to go the extra mile. I want to give a special shout out to store manager Mike, who went out of his way to go above and beyond during my most recent visit. On my way out, I had some car trouble, and, despite being employed as the manager of a music store and not as a mechanic or roadside assistance agent, Mike immediately jumped into action. He grabbed gloves and paper towels and a couple tools and was able to help me with the automotive equivalent of first-aid and make a temporary repair to fix the problem as best as possible on the spot. He used his personal knowledge and skills to help me out. I hadn't even bought anything on this visit. He had no obligation to help, but he did anyway.
The Absolute Best Guitar Center in DFW—Highly Recommend Lessons with Casey! This is, hands down, my favorite Guitar Center in the entire DFW metroplex. I’ve visited every location, from Mesquite to Denton to Fort Worth, and this one consistently provides the best experience. Over the years, I’ve sold, done trade-ins, and purchased multiple items—guitars, speakers, cables, and amps— always coming back to this location and the team has always been amazing - but the real standout is the lessons program. I recently started taking lessons with Casey and I truly cannot say enough positive things about her. Her knowledge and ability to convey complex concepts are amazing. After playing guitar for five years and hitting a serious plateau, Casey showed me new concepts, techniques, and introduced me to new genres of music that have completely revived my interest in the instrument. She is incredibly patient and encouraging, yet she challenges and pushes me to learn new topics each week. I look forward to my lesson every week! I highly recommend taking lessons at this Guitar Center location, and I especially recommend booking time with Casey. She’s fantastic!
I’ve bought guitars, mixers, audio interfaces, headphones, microphones, and field recorders — pretty much a little bit of everything — and the team has always been helpful. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and make every visit easy and enjoyable. Great customer service and a solid place for musicians at any level! 🎸🎧🎤
Great Guitar Center location, Jordan was very friendly and informative, and helped get me set up to demo some guitars! The staff here are great and no one tries to breathe down your neck to get a sale. That makes me want to come back when I do need to get something :D
I went in on a Saturday to return a vintage mixer I had ordered from a different location that had arrived damaged. Although the staff was extremely busy they were very prompt in addressing me and kept an upbeat positive demeanor the entire time. They got my item returned and even transferred the credit to a similar product that turned out to be an upgrade. 10 /10 will do business with them again.
