Habib's Barbershop, situé au 912 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002, est salué pour son ambiance conviviale et accueillante et ses barbiers compétents. Jouad did a great job but he’s no longer there. I booked with someone new and when I showed up 5 min early I was told there were 2 guys ahead of me. Haircuts are good and for a decent price, but I wish you’d get the time you book.
My first time going here, and found my new person for life! Got a haircut last week by Patty, and I don't review often, but needed to make sure she got the recognition she deserved. She was awesome, had a nice conversation about Thailand and DC, and got one of, if not the best, haircuts of my life. I've gotten compliments all week. I showed Patty a photo of what I wanted, which can always be a bit of a roll of the dice, but she nailed it and even improved on it. Now I have a photo of this haircut for reference, to show anyone ever of how I like my hair styled. Can't recommend Habib and Patty more. 10/10. Back soon.
Habib’s Barbershop has an incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone there is super accommodating and makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I get my cuts with Jaouad, and he is absolutely top-notch. His attention to detail is unmatched, and he really knows his stuff when it comes to different styles. He always takes the time to check in throughout the cut to make sure everything is exactly how I want it. On top of that, he’s extremely personable and a genuinely kind guy, which makes every visit a great experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a barbershop that combines skill, professionalism, and great vibes!
Two horrible services! I'm in DC offten on work. I went here a few months back and told the guy I wanted a slight fade on my beard more like a taper at the top... he cut off more then half my beard leaving my with a goatee with a fade. I was not happy, the owner fixed it best he could but the damage was done. Gave them one more shot and today the guy cut me sevral times from using old clippers that have not been serviced. He said I was done when I paid for hot town, and shave (thats all I came in for, never got a hot towel) the edge in with the razor cut me a few times as well. I kept telling him to stop he's cutting he. When he gave me the mirror I had other people's hair on my face since his tools were dirty and my left and right sides were uneven. I left with still having patches of my beard on my neck not trimmed. Going to target to get a trimmer before my work meeting tomorrow. I'm not sure how he got so much wrong in a short period of time. Deandre did a fantastic job, he’s super down to earth and was very communicative during the haircut. He’s very talented and will be coming back! - 5 star review Edit : Before I start I would like to commend Youssef on his professionalism and understanding to help rectify the bad experience. I recently received a haircut from Fernando Soriano and asked to take a bit off the top and to shape my mullet. We were chatting for a bit then he started to talk about politics and ended up getting very emotional and started to scream at me while I was in the chair. Youssef even came over to ask why he was screaming. Fernando spent way too much time on my beard and ended up rushing to cut my hair since he had another client waiting for 30 minutes. Each side of my head looked like a different haircut. It was a painful hour long haircut. I called the shop after to let them know I wasn’t happy and Youssef was very accommodating and said that he could get me in the next day to touch it up. Unfortunately, I had an event that evening and had to go to another shop. The shop itself is very nice and I have gotten great haircuts from other barbers before however because of my experience with Fernando I will be looking else where. Fernando ‘s service was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I definitely recommend booking with other talent. I am disheartened to leave this review because it may hurt the business but customers should be aware of Fernando’s behavior. - 1 star review
