Got immediate response from Home Handyman Connection. Had onsite visit to look at the job where they told us a quote would be sent the next day. Haven't heard from them since, despite multiple follow ups. Finally, after almost three weeks get notice that "Handyman Connection has canceled [sic] your service request". ** Followup edit ** After lots of back and forth, finally was able to get them out to do the work. The actual work was done very professionally and I'm very pleased with the result. So, I bumped my rating from 1 to 3. So, keep in mind that you experience might vary but the process of getting from quote to started was the worst part of this experience, from miscommunication to cancelled visits to lack of follow up. But with persistence, you can get there!
Jobs was completed in timely matter. Love the finished project. The installer was very friendly and approachable. Definitely wud use handyman services again. Thk you Darrell
Quick replies from office and our handyman. Estimate on cost was almost exact, no surprises. Regular updates on appointments and when our handyman was on route were great. Within a couple days of initial contact we already had Darrell at our place to see what was to be done, only a few days later work was compete. We had Darrell replace our 2nd storey external attic access door, and he was awesome. Asked if it could be done in PVC rather than usual wood, Darrell says no problem. Professional and very personable, great to talk to. Finished work looks fantastic, and was done in 1 day in a timely manner at a very reasonable cost.
Darrell came to our condo for painting both bathrooms, installing a tile backsplash, and grouting in the washroom. He was respectful, always (4 days) on time and loved our dog - he carried a great conversation! He kept the areas clean and free for us to use in the evenings - thanks for sending him Handyman Connection! You can be sure we will call again with a host of other things to tackle.
Darrell was great. Replaced my storm door and did a fantastic job. Was on time, friendly and helpful. Would use again.
