Love this place, not just as an employee but as a client as well, my dog absolutely adores coming with me to daycare and playing with all of his bestest friends! The rest of the staff are all amazing and wonderful people, one of the groomers, Jess, is absolutely fantastic and does a phenomenal job at grooming my dog! My dog has some issues with having his nails done and previously I always had to take him to the vet to get them done. At the vet he always had to have at least 3 different people helping with his nails, however Jess was able to trim his nails and shave around his paw pads all by herself!!
Brought my chihuahua here when he was a puppy and the staff would always make me feel really bad telling me he pooped and peed every time I picked him up (not sure why I needed to be told that, it’s a puppy and there’s nothing I can do about it when I leave him in their care for hours) along with other comments and judgmental looks - I felt uncomfortable and my dog always seemed relieved to leave so I’ve never brought him back. I personally don’t recommend bringing your puppy to this kind of thing for the purpose of socialization, for some it may work but in my experience I believe it played a huge role in my dog becoming reactive. You have no control over what happens in there and it can be too overwhelming for your pup especially if it’s a breed that’s not usually confident.
The first picture shows my dogs as they were before, the second and third pictures are what I want and what I showed them, and the other pictures show what I got, the small dog shaved bald in places, the bigger dog has several cuts. I really wonder how they get so many good reviews. and I heard that they charged an extra 25 bucks, 10 for the hair knot, 15 for the dog bite. The knotted hair is completely shaved and not combed away, why charge extra? Yuki never bite anyone. What did they do to her?
Staff here were INCREDIBLE!! We did the board and stay with the doggy daycare during the day. From the moment we called they were so nice, told us everything we needed to know, answered all our questions. When we arrived they were awesome as we checked in. We called a couple times to check on our pup and they told us right away how she was doing. The facility was very clean, well organized and they really went above and beyond with a puppy report card and even washing and drying the blankets we sent with. And the fact that they upload pics of the dogs on their social media 12/10!! So appreciated!
We visited this location with our Pup. It's the third visit to a Happy Tails location. I have to say staff are so friendly at both locations. This one and St Anne's. Your furbabies are well taken care of and Happy. They post pictures on Facebook and IG showing off your dog and all the fun they had. We did Power hour last night. $15 for 90mins and our Dog came out Happy as can be and drained from all the fun. Thank you Happy Tails for being there so our pups can get some social skills. After all Humans can't teach Dogs to be Dogs. They need other Dogs.
