God awful customer service. Nice nursery but the lady speaking to me was talking down to me and asking me a million questions. She was speaking to me like I was a child because I didn’t know what type of plants to buy, how much sunlight they will get etc. Will go elsewhere. I don’t know if she was racist or if that was just her personality. New in town and not a warm welcoming at all. Never again. I love plants and flowers and I was so excited to try a nursery in my new city. Will be going to the 9th Ward nursery or Home Depot in the future.

One of the best plant stores, with the best prices! Today I purchased Greek Oregano and varieties of thyme, for 3 bucks a pop. But what I really love is how beautiful it is here. You can just walk around and really enjoy all the beautiful plants, in a wonderland type environment, which is so New Orleans. It's one of my favorite places, you can't go wrong with your garden needs at Harolds!
Be very wary of what they are selling. Their plants and collection are amazing. But they do incredibly poorly with pest control. I have been dealing with major issues with the plants I bought from them for months which are infested with aphids and had spent hours and money for pest control to no avail. Pictures are attached.
I'm so glad I got a chance to stop by this plant nursery. I was out and about and saw someone carrying a beautiful plant and asked where's the best place to buy plants and they named Harold's. It reminded me of a little oasis right in the middle of New Orleans. The pricing is really good and they have a great variety of species. The employees were also really helpful and attentive. I had a bunch of questions about my little Monstera that needs a little TLC and the staff member I spoke to was really patient and informative. My sister lives in the area and is ready to be a plant mom lol so I told her she definitely needs to go here!
